Texas Tech offers 150 undergraduate, 100 graduate, and 50 doctoral degrees in various fields of study like engineering, business administration, architecture, computer science, and more. The courses are offered through the 13 schools and colleges under Texas Tech University namely the College of Agricultural Sciences & Natural Resources, College of Architecture, College of Arts & Sciences, Jerry S. Rawls College of Business Administration, College of Education, Edward E. Whitacre Jr. College of Engineering, Honors College, College of Human Sciences, College of Media and Communication, J.T. & Margaret Talkington College of Visual & Performing Arts, Graduate School, School of Law, and School of Veterinary Medicine.
Texas Tech has an automatic admission process based on class rank and SAT (Math and Critical Reading) or ACT score of the applicant. Students who are in the top 10% of their class are automatically accepted. The applicants that are in the top 25% of their class and have an ACT of at least 25 or an SAT of at least 1140 are also offered admission.
