The University of Dallas is classified #6 rank in Regional Universities West. Schools are ranked using a set of commonly accepted excellence factors. The University of Dallas was ranked among the top 10 Catholic institutions in the West and the top 15 Catholic colleges in the United States by U.S. News & World Report and Forbes, accordingly.
The university was recognized to Forbes' 2019 list of America's top 650 institutions "that give the greatest academics, finest experiences, job success, and lowest debt," earning it: Placement among the top 25 Catholic institutions in the country, as well as recognized as Texas' best Catholic institution. giving it the following accolades:
UD is consistently ranked in Forbes' annual "America's Top Colleges" list, The university is ranked No. 253 out of 650 of America's top universities in the 2018 ranking, Sixth-largest student body of "Future Rotarians and Daughters of the American Revolution." In the 2021 edition of U.S. News & World Report's "Best Colleges," published September 14, the University of Dallas was ranked No. #6, advancing for the second year running. Another No. #6 ranking for UD, this time as a "Best Value" university in Texas, confirms its standing among the #127 Best Regional Universities in the West. UD is ranked #24 out of #854, Most Conservative Colleges in America by Niche. THE has also dropped UD's ranking from 401-500 for 2019 to 2022. Niche news & world report has ranked #352, Best Value Colleges in America.
The University of Dallas's Rome Program got recognized as the fourth "Most Popular Study Abroad Program" in the country. The university is ranked No. 253 out of 650 of America's finest universities in the 2018 ranking, earning it a position among the top 25 Catholic colleges nationwide and recognition as Texas' No.1 Catholic institution.
