An international freshman is a student who is presently enrolled or has recently graduated from high school or secondary school in the United States or another country. A minimum paper-based test score of 550, a computer-based test score of 213, or an Internet-based (IBT) Test of English as a Foreign Language score of 79-80. Based on your high school grades, you must have a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.00 (on a scale of 4.00 in the United States). The steps and prerequisites are as follows:
International Applicants must have completed high school or passed the General Education Development (GED) test to be considered for admission. Applicants must have a cumulative high school grade point average of 2.00 on a scale of 4.00, with a minimum, recalculated unweighted core GPA of 2.00 and an ACT composite score of 17 or higher, or a combined SAT score of 920 or higher from the evidence-based writing and reading test.
