Tie Breaking Criteria for NATA Merit Rank 2024
Two or more people may hold the same marks and cutoffs and compete for the same merit rank. In such instances, the following NATA tie-breaker criteria will decide which candidate will keep the higher NATA merit rank:
- Overall marks obtained in Mathematics.
- Less wrong answers in the Mathematics section.
- Overall marks in the General Aptitude Test.
- Less wrong answers in the General Aptitude Test.
- Date of Birth- one who has an early birth date will be considered.
- If a tie still exists after applying the standard as mentioned earlier, the same rank will be allotted to the respective candidates.
