XAT 2018 exam was conducted on Jan 7, 2018. The exam centres were spread across 50 cities, and international centres were in Dubai and Kathmandu. XAT 2018 question paper was remarked as moderate to difficult.
There were 74 questions on Verbal and Logical Ability, Decision making, Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation, and General Knowledge. XLRI Jamshedpur released the result on 11th February 2018.

Highlights of XAT 2018 Question Paper
The points below are some critical details of the XAT 2018 question paper. Check it out for a better understanding.
- The authorities did not add the GK marks to the final merit list. However, some institutes used the marks for admission by some institutions.
- There was no negative marking for the GK questions. Moreover, the marks obtained in the GK section were not considered for calculating the percentile.
- From the essay writing section, candidates had to attempt one essay-type question in the XAT exam.
- A deduction of 0.5 marks was introduced for each unanswered question.
- Only Part 1 had a negative marking.
