All India Law Entrance Test is the AILET full form. National Law University, Delhi (NLUD) conducts the AILET exam annually for admission to its undergraduate and graduate law courses.
The registration for the AILET exam began on August 1, 2024, on the official AILET Portal - nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. The deadline for enrollment is November 18, 2024. The AILET exam date is December 8, 2024.
This year, AILET will also be held for admission to the BCom LLB course. The National Law University Delhi will hold exams from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on the specified date at selected examination centers. On May 27, 2024, the university published the AILET Admission Notification on its official website, nludelhi.ac.in. The announcement includes all the important dates linked to AILET exam.

AILET 2024 Admission Process
The admission procedure of NLU Delhi through AILET consists of the following steps:
Step 1: Online Registration
Firstly, applicants need to register online through NLU Delhi’s official website- nludelhi.ac.in. They need to fill in the necessary details in the application form, upload the required documents and make the exam fee payment. Note that one can only submit the AILET 2024 application form online.
Step 2: AILET 2024 Admit Card
NLU Delhi issues AILET admit cards to all the registered candidates. Applicants must carry the AILET admit card on the day of the exam. Without an admit card, the authorities will not allow candidates to enter the exam hall.
Step 3: AILET 2024 Exam
Applicants now need to appear for the AILET exam at the test centre allotted to them. AILET admit card will contain details related to the exam centre. One must report to the test centre at least an hour before the exam starts.
Step 4: Announcement of Results
NLU Delhi generally declared AILET results within a month after conducting the exam. Details like All India Rank, overall & sectional scores are mentioned on the scorecards of candidates.
Step 5: Counselling
NLUD organises AILET counselling based on the rank list. During the counselling process, the university allocates seats to the qualifying candidates on the basis of merit.

AILET 2024 Application Form
The online application form for AILET 2024 starts on August 7, 2022. Candidates need to provide their personal & academic details to register for AILET. Moreover, they have to upload documents like category certificates, signatures, and passport-size photographs.
AILET Application Fee
The application fee to register for AILET is INR 3050 for the general category. SC/ST/PwD category applicants need to pay INR 1050 to apply for the exam. One can make the application fee payment through a debit card or credit card/ net banking.
Fee Exemption: ST/SC/BPL category applicants get a 100% expedition in the fee.

AILET 2024 Eligibility Crieria
NLUD will shortlist candidates for admission to LLM, BA LLB (Hons), and PhD courses. Therefore, here are the course-wise eligibility criteria for AILET 2024.

BA LLB (Hons) | Students who complete 12th grade/equivalent with at least 45% marks. In the case of ST/SC/PwD students, 40% marks are required. |

AILET 2024 Exam Pattern
As per the latest AILET exam pattern, the question paper will comprise 150 MCQ questions. Test-takers will receive one mark for every correct answer. Moreover, there is a negative marking of 0.25 for every wrong attempt.
NLUD made some changes to the AILET exam pattern of BA LLB & LLM courses in 2022. Now, there are three sections in the BA LLB (Hons) question paper since the legal reasoning, and mathematics sections have been removed.
Due to the modification in the exam pattern, there has been an impact on the sectional weightage in AILET. However, the overall scores remain unchanged. Now, the logical reasoning section has the maximum weightage (70 marks). Further, the English language section carries 50 marks, followed by Current Affairs & GK section with 30 marks.
