The class 10 practical exam began on Jan 1, 2024, and the internal assessment will start from Nov 14, 2023 to Dec 14, 2023. As per the official CBSE class 10 practical exam date sheet, the respective schools will conduct practical/internal assessments for class 10.
Practical exams/projects/and internal assessments for the CBSE 10th will be carried out by the instructions provided by the board officials on the academic website, according to the guidelines.

CBSE has released an official notice regarding the CBSE practical exam date for 2023-24. The CBSE class 10 practical exams, projects, and internal assessments for session 2023-24 are scheduled between Jan 1, 2024 to Feb 15, 2024.
CBSE Class 10 Practical Exam Guidelines 2023-24
CBSE will conduct 10 practical exams/projects/internal assessments according to the board's guidelines. CBSE class 10 practical exam guidelines for schools are given below.
- Winter-bound schools Practical exams/projects/Internal assessments are usually conducted from 15th November to 14th December every year.
- Schools can conduct two or three sessions a day if the number of students exceeds 20.
- CBSE-affiliated schools must prepare a final list of candidates and ensure that students whose names have not been given in the LOC are not allowed to sit for the practical exam.
- CBSE schools shall simultaneously upload practical exams/projects/internal assessment marks from the practical examination's start.
- Practical examinations/projects/internal assessments shall be completed by the schools for regular students only as per the curriculum of the subject concerned.

CBSE Class 10 Practical Exam Marking Scheme
CBSE class 10 Science theory paper is for 80 marks and 20 marks are allocated for internal assessment. The marking scheme for for CBSE class 10 practical exam internal evaluation is given below in the table:
