CSAB Registration 2024
Students applying for the CSAB Special Rounds must complete a fresh registration process online. The CSAB Special Round registration process 2024 is different from the JoSAA rounds as it only considers JEE Main scores. Once the CSAB counseling results are released, each candidate can choose to either Freeze, Slide, Float, Surrender, Withdraw, or Exit. Students who have appeared in the JoSAA rounds are also eligible for the CSAB 2024 Special rounds depending on the choice filled in during the last round.
A part of the Central Seat Allocation Board’s (CSAB) function is to conduct two special rounds, post-completion of JoSAA rounds to admit students to the vacant seats in the NIT+ System (excluding all IITs). This process begins with the candidates completing the category restoration. During the JoSAA counseling 2024 documentation process, if a student’s category was changed from OBC-NCL/GEN-EWS/SC/ST to GEN due to invalid category certificates, they can raise a category restoration request and submit the valid certificates.
A detailed account of the CSAB Counseling 2024, registration process, choice filling, and seat allotment are given below.
