CUET Full Form is Central Universities Entrance Test. CUCET Full Form in Hindi is कॉमन यूनिवर्सिटी एंट्रेंस टेस्ट. CUET was first introduced in 2010. At the time, the Central University of Rajasthan was the conducting body, and after 2021 the National Testing Agency (NTA) became CUET’s conducting body.
The Common University Entrance Test is commenced every year to provide students with different Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses. Applicants willing to apply for the program must check the eligibility criteria. Those who will meet the eligibility limit set by NTA will only be allowed to appear for the exam.
What is CUET?
CUET Full Form (Central Universities Entrance Test) is a national-level entrance examination, which was earlier known as CUCET. The full form of CUCET was Central Universities Common Entrance Test. This entrance examination offers admission into graduate, postgraduate, and research program courses.
Many central universities nationwide participate in the CUET entrance examination to offer admissions to their courses. In 2022, approximately 54 universities and colleges were associated with CUET, and many more institutions are expected to participate in this to offer their courses and programs.

Which Tests to Choose for CUET 2025?
There are a few things to keep in mind while choosing the tests in CUET. Refer to the points below to know about the limitations and options regarding the CUET test options-
- Students have to choose the tests they are interested in and are relevant to the course/courses they wish to take admission to in college or university.
- A candidate appearing for the Common Universities Entrance Test (CUET) can take up to a maximum of 9 tests.
- One option is to choose 1 languages from Section 1A, 6 Domain Subjects, and the General Test (Section 3)
- The second option is to choose 3 languages from both the sections of Section 1, 5 Domain Subjects from Section 2, and the General Test from Section 3.
- Note that the Section 3 General Test is mandatory for all candidates to choose from.

CUET Application Form 2025
The CUET applications will probably be released in the second week of January 2025, and will be closed in the second week of March 2025. Post which the correction window’s dates for the filled applications will also be notified.

- After visiting the official website CUET, the candidates will be able to see the registration window on the home page
- Upon clicking on the registration option, the candidate will be directed to the sign-up page
- Then the candidates will be required to fill in all the details and information carefully in their application form
- A scanned copy of Identity proof, passport-size photograph, signature, reserved category certificate (if applicable), and self-attested soft copies of the latest qualification certificates will be required at the time of registration.
- After uploading all the documents, the candidates must cross-check the information they entered in the online application.
- As the final step, the candidate will be required to make the payment for the courses they opted for.
- The candidates will be able to download their application form, and it is advised to keep the form for the record.

CUET Eligibility Criteria 2025
The candidates must check the eligibility criteria for CUET admissions, failing to meet the eligibility criteria may result in failure of admission. Check out the eligibility criteria in the list below-
- The candidate must have passed their 12th Class examination from a recognised school board.
- Subjects such as Biology, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry are mandatory for some courses.
- The eligibility criteria may vary for different universities, candidates must check for the University’s CUET Eligibility criteria while applying for the university.
