CUET Counselling 2024: Schedule, Registration, Seat Allotment

CUET Counselling 2024 is expected to begin by the last week of Jul 2024. However, the official schedule and dates will be released soon on the official website, i.e., cuet.nta.nic.in by the NTA authorities.

Candidates who intend to get admission to UG programs offered by Banaras Hindu University (BHU) must register and enter their preferences through the online portal before the last date. Delhi University will conduct CUET counselling 2024 process to complete the admission to the UG programs through the three rounds of the Common Seat Allocation System 2024 (CSAS).

However, the CUET counselling schedule for CUET 2024 will be announced after the release of the result. Candidates who make it to the merit list will then be invited to participate in CUET 2024 counselling process.

CUET Counselling 2024 Dates

CUET counselling 2024 is expected to begin by the last week of Jul 2024. On the CUET website, candidates can locate the CUET counselling dates for the Central University of Haryana, Central University of Karnataka, Central University of Punjab, Central University of Rajasthan, and other participating universities, once it is released.

Ans. The conducting authority has not released the official schedule for the CUET 2024 counselling process yet. However, in general there are three rounds scheduled every year.

CUET Counselling 2024: Merit List

The CUET 2024 participating universities will publish their own CUET 2024 merit list online for the various courses they provide. Follow these steps to download the CUET 2024 Merit List:

• Step 2: On the homepage, click the 'CUET 2024 Merit List' link.
• Step 3: Find the link among the subject-specific links offered.

Q. The counselling for CUCET 2024 is conducted online or offline?

Ans. The CUET counselling 2024 will be conducted in online mode through each participating institutes individually.

CUET UG 2024 Counselling DU Admission

Delhi University will complete the admission to the UG programs through the three rounds of Common Seat Allocation System 2024 (CSAS 2024) in CUET UG 2024 counselling. The system is said to be activated once the CUET 2024 exam is over.

After the three phases of seat allocation, the conducting body, Delhi University, will start to fill the supplementary seats considering the seat availability. The supplementary seats allocation will commence, except for the PwD candidates and the Kashmiri migrants.

• Phase 1: The candidates must apply through CSAS form 2024 and pay a one-time refundable amount. The candidates must apply under ECA and sports supernumerary; then, the candidates must pay an additional amount.
• Phase 2: Candidates must select the programs and need to fill in their preferences. After the CUET 2024 results are declared, the candidates should complete the admission for their preferred stream. Candidates can select as many programs if they meet the required eligibility criteria for the required program. CUET UG counselling 2024 final selection will be made based on the order of seat allocation.
• Phase 3: The admission to Delhi University will be completed per the order of the preferences of college programs in the CSAS form. CUET UG counselling 2024 authority will consider the candidate's rank in the merit list for UR/OBC/SC/ST/EWS category.

CUET Counselling Procedure 2024

CUET counselling 2024 process contains several steps. All the information on the same is detailed below:

• Every participating Central University will prepare a unique merit list, which will be shared on the university’s CUET counselling website.
• The allotment of seats will be based on the rank attained by the candidate in CUET 2024 exam.
• The candidates shortlisted in the merit list must register for counselling online on the official CUET counselling website.
• The counselling will be held online and then offline.
• The selected candidates must then pay the admission fee to confirm the seat allotment.

Online Counselling

There will be a separate fee for online counselling for CUET 2024. The candidate must fill in college and course preferences through online counselling. Candidates with higher ranks will be preferred to lower-rank holders during the seat allotment.

On availability of seats and ranks of candidates, seats would be allotted. Candidates must accept the seat and submit an admission fee after the allotment.

CUET Counselling Spot Admission 2024

After completing all rounds of CUET counselling 2024 process, a notification will be released if any seats are left vacant at a university. Those candidates who applied for counselling but failed to secure a seat can also apply for the spot admission round.

They will have to go to the campus on the mentioned date and submit their documents (original and photocopies) for verification.
