Central University of Gujarat was established by the Parliament of India Act No. 25 of 2009, known as the Central Universities Act (2009). Gujarat Central University is a public university in Gandhinagar. CUG has begun accepting applications for the academic year 2022-23. Admissions to undergraduate and graduate programmes will be handled by CUET UG and CUET PG, respectively. The CUET UG 2022 result is now available. Central University of Gujarat admission 2022-23 is ongoing. Admission to the Central University of Gujarat is only possible through the Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET). CUCET is mandatory for all candidates and there will be no exemption for UGC-NET (including JRF)/ UGC-CSIR NET (including JRF)/ SLET/ GATE/ teacher fellowship holders.
To be eligible for CUG UG and PG admission, candidates must register and appear for CUCET, which is administered by NTA. Candidates for PhD admission must have passed the UGC-NET/ UGC-CSIR NET/ SLET/ GATE/ or be a Teacher Fellowship holder or have completed an MPhil. CUG also administers its own Research Aptitude Test, which is followed by an Interview for final admission to the PhD programme.
The candidate applying for admission to the Central University of Gujarat should have passed two years’ intermediate examinations or a recognised plus two examination with an aggregate of at least 50% aggregate marks. Applicants seeking admission belonging to SC/ST category need 40% from a recognized board or council to get admission in any of the required courses. The Central University of Gujarat's Infrastructure is excellent in terms of several facilities. CUG provides all the necessary facilities to its students. It has all of the amenities, including free Wi-Fi, a language laboratory where students can practise Chinese, classrooms with projectors, and a library with all of the books on the Chinese language and culture. The food in the canteen is of high quality. CUG has medical facilities and a doctor on-call at all times.
Sports and games facilities are excellent, with students having access to a cricket net as well as fields for football, volleyball, and badminton. CIF, which stands for Central Instrumental Facility, is available here. All kinds of instruments are available, and labs are well-established. All students have access to a hostel.
