• IIT Roorkee has released the GATE 2025 timetable on their official website (gate2025.iitr.ac.in). The exam will be held in two sessions over the weekends on February 01, 02, 15, and 16, 2025. The morning session will take place from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM, while the afternoon session will be scheduled from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM.​

• JEE Main 2025 exam dates are out for the January Session. Registrations for JEE Main 2025 are ongoing till November 22, 2024, and the exam will take place from January 22 to 31, 2025. Candidates seeking B.Tech admission to IIT Gandhinagar can register online through jeemain.nta.nic.in. 
• The JEE Advanced 2025 application form for admission to B.Tech at IIT Gandhinagar course will be out in April 2025.
• IIT JAM 2025 for M.Sc admission to IIT Gandhinagar will be conducted on February 02, 2025. Candidates can make changes to the application form through jam2025.iitd.ac.in, till November 18, 2024, and the admit card is expected to be out in the first week of January 2025.

IIT Gandhinagar was set in the year 2008. It is one of the 2nd generation IITs that the Government of India started. The institute offers B.Tech and M.Tech programs in various disciplines of Engineering. It also offers MSc and PhD programs in all the engineering and science disciplines. 

IIT Gandhinagar conducts a 5-week foundation program that has been acclaimed by the World Education Summit in 2013. IIT Gandhinagar admits students based on past academic merit and a valid score in the qualifying exam. IIT Gandhinagar offers admission to BTech, MTech, MA, MSc, and PhD courses. The entries are based on JEE Mains, IIT JAM, and GATE scores. The admission process is conducted in three steps: written, counselling, and merit.

IIT Gandhinagar Eligibility Criteria

IIT Gandhinagar admission offers various UG, PG, and PhD courses to candidates in several specializations. The main focus of the college is to provide entries in the field of engineering and technology in several disciplines. The eligibility criteria for some of the courses offered are given below.

B.Tech Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must complete their 10+2 qualifications from a recognized board.
• The qualifying marks for SC/ST students would be 65% in class 12.
• Candidates should apply for JEE Main.

M.Tech Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must complete their bachelor's degree from a recognized university with at least 55% marks/5.5 out of 10 on a point scale in BE/BTech/MSc ( 50% marks for SC/ST candidates).
• Candidates with a valid GATE score (at the interview/written test) are eligible to apply for M.Tech.
• GATE is not required for application to M.Tech on a part-time basis or for the PGDIIT program.

PhD. Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must score at least 55% with CPI marks in MA/M.Sc./B.Tech./M.Tech. or equivalent degree in appropriate branches. 
• Eligible EWS/SC/ST/PD candidates will have relaxations, as per norms, in the selection criteria.
• The candidate can have an M.Sc in Basic Sciences with a 7.0 CGPA or 65% marks in aggregate in relevant disciplines, or
• The candidate can have an MBBS with a CGPA of 6.5 or 60% marks in aggregate, or
• The candidate can have an M.Sc/ M.A/ MBA/ M.Com in Humanities and Social Sciences or Management with a CGPA of 6.5 or 60% marks.
