Tripura University was founded in 1987 as a central public university. The University Grants Commission has approved the university (UGC). The NAAC has given the university a 'B' rating based on its CGPA of 2.63. Admissions 2024 are in process for undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral courses including BCA, MA, MBA, MCA, M.Pharm, etc. Tripura University accepts the CUET exam for admission. 

Tripura University Suryamaninagar now has 52 colleges connected with it. Before becoming a Central University, Tripura University was a division of Calcutta University. The institution has a long history of excellence in research and academic accomplishments, as well as technical innovation. The university's main campus is 75 acres in size. There are diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate, and integrated courses at the university.

Tripura University Admission

Tripura University admissions 2024 administers candidates through the Tripura University Entrance Test(TUET) for admission to its various degrees like BA, MCA, LLB, M.Pharm, MBA, BBA, etc. Toppers of the Tripura Board of Secondary Examination (10+2), on the other hand, are exempt from the TUET.

Tripura University Eligibility Criteria

Tripura University admission is granted to only those who meet the program's eligibility requirements. The following is a list of some of the courses provided by Tripura University, along with their qualifying requirements

B.Tech Eligibility Criteria 

• The candidate must have completed 10+2 or it's equivalent from a recognized board 
• Should have passed with a minimum aggregate of 50% .
• Candidate should have a valid score in CUET UG. 
• A valid score in TUET examination.

MBA Eligibility Criteria 

• Graduation with a minimum of 50% aggregate from a recognized university
• A valid CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ CMAT score is required.

Ph.D. Eligibility Criteria 

• Post-graduation degree from a recognized university
• A minimum of 55% aggregate is required
• Valid score in RET or NET/ SLET/ GATE/ SET.
