Mizoram University is a central university working under the Government of India established in 2001. Mizoram University is located at Aizawl and is spread over 978 acres in an area on the outskirts of the city. The college offers seven PG Departments, namely, Economics, Education, Forestry, Mizo, Psychology, English, and Public Administration. Admission to undergraduate courses will be handled by CUET UG. CUET UG 2022 results are now available. Candidates who took the entrance exam can view and download their scorecards by going to the official website.

Mizoram University was ranked as one of the top 100 Universities in India, assessed by the NIRF rankings almost every year, under the MHRD. The University has 33 academic departments offering UG, PG, M.Phil. as well as Ph.D. programs under 8 Schools. The University has a total of 35 affiliated colleges and one constituent college. Mizoram University, Aizawl was accredited ‘A’ grade by NAAC in the year 2019.

Mizoram University Admission

Mizoram University admissions 2022 for UG and PG courses are still open. Admission to UG courses will be handled by CUET UG. The CUET UG 2022 result is now available. Candidates who took the entrance exam can access and download their scorecards by visiting the official website. Admission and counselling for CUET-qualified candidates will start soon. Mizoram University Aizawl admission courses include B.Tech, B.Ed, M.Ed, MA, B.Arch, M.Sc, MBA, M.Com, M.Tech, M.L.I.Sc, MJMC, MSW, and PhD.

Mizoram University Eligibility Criteria

Mizoram University admits students who meet the prerequisites set by the MZU Aizawl. Students seeking admission to the university must meet the required criteria. Some of the eligibility criteria for the courses are listed below.

B.Tech Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must have passed 10+2 examinations in relevant subjects with at least 50% marks from a recognised board of education.
• Candidates are required to obtain a JEE/MZUEEE valid score.

MA Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in their respective fields with at least 50% marks.

Ph.D Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must hold a Master's degree in their respective fields with at least 50% marks.
• Candidates for PhD admission at Mizoram University must have a valid entrance exam score, followed by an interview round where the final selection is made.

Mizoram University CutOff

Mizoram University cutoff 2022 is yet to be announced. Mizoram University Aizawl admits students based on eligibility criteria and accepts entrance tests such as the Common Universities Entrance Test (CUET). Mizoram University cutoff  2021 has been released. To be eligible for B.Tech and B.Arch programmes, candidates must pass the JEE Mains exam. Mizoram University Results 2022 are out now. Mizoram University publishes exam results on its official website. Candidates who have been selected for the CUET 2022 counselling process will be contacted. The counselling schedule is expected to be released soon.

Mizoram University's infrastructure is excellent. Students have access to a classroom, laboratories for various subjects, a machine room, animal house, library, computer room, and free Wi-Fi. Mizoram University's Central Library houses a collection of 1,06,658 books, 378 theses, 303 M.Phil dissertations, 336 master degree dissertations/project work, and 11,364 bound volumes of journals. Mizoram University has seven hostels, four for girls (140 capacity) and three for boys (162 capacity), which are known as Phawngpui Hostel, Lengteng Hostel, Dingdi Hostel, Ainawn Hostel, and Senhri Hostel. Mizoram University Faculty is encouraging and interactive. Mizoram University has a total of 195 faculty members. MZU Aizawl faculty teach students to think effectively, which helps them in their daily lives as well as increases job opportunities easily through knowledge and exam study. MZU Aizawl faculty are extremely helpful. Mizoram University faculty is comprised of both experienced and talented individuals. Each of them has at least 9 to 10 years of teaching experience. In addition, some guest lecturers who have completed their master's degrees in other countries visit the MZU Aizawl University on a regular basis.
