NIT Mizoram was established in 2010 under the NIT Act 2007. The institute started functioning in the temporary campus in the city of Aizawl and the permanent campus is now under development at Lengpui, Aizawl district with all world-class facilities. NIT Mizoram B.Tech and BArch admissions will be decided based on JEE Main 2024 examination. JEE Main 2024 Result for Session 1 has been released on February 13, 2024.

National Institute of Technology Mizoram offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in Engineering, Science, and Humanities disciplines. NIT Mizoram has a Training and Placement cell that takes care of the placement services. There are a lot of other clubs and societies in the institute for co-curricular and extracurricular activities. The institute offers many facilities and provisions that students can access so that they have an enriching and memorable college life. These include state-of-the-art infrastructure, hostel accommodation, and sports facilities.

NIT Mizoram Admission

NIT Mizoram admission 2024 is ongoing. Admission is done on the basis of the scores obtained in the competitive and qualifying examinations like GATE/JEE Main. It can also be is done online on the official website of the college. 

NIT Mizoram Eligibility Criteria

NIT Aizawl has different eligibility criteria for candidates interested in appearing for different entrance exams. Candidates who do not fulfill these are not given admission in their desired courses. These are mentioned separately for different courses

B.Tech Eligibility Criteria

• The candidates must have passed 10+2 in the science stream from a recognized board.
• Candidates must have a valid score in the Joint Entrance Exam[JEE] Advanced.

National Institute of Technology Aizawl also conducts mock tests and practice session classes on aptitude, quantitative ability, logic, and reasoning to make students practice and get better before appearing for the final Interview and Written Test. The T&P cell coordinates with the recruitment companies and sends an annexure to those companies and the recruiters in return need to fill in all necessary information in the annexure. Recruiters will then fix dates with NIT Mizoram to visit the campus for conducting the recruitment process via various steps including written tests, group discussions, and interviews.

National Institute of Technology Mizoram Cutoff

NIT Mizoram JEE Main Cutoff 2023 will be released soon. NIT Mizoram has various specializations and for each of them, there is a separate list of cutoffs. The student desiring admission in any specialization needs to qualify for the cutoff rank for that department. For each specialization, there is a separate cutoff list. Students can also study the yearly trend of the cutoffs at NIT Mizoram. Students can further refer to the admissions page to get detailed information.

NIT Mizoram Results

NIT Mizoram results will be declared within two months after the completion of the exam. The result will be declared online on the institute’s official website. Candidates will need to use their roll number to check the result. For B. Tech JEE Mains results have been announced.
