• NTA has released the JEE Main 2025 Exam Dates. The first session exam dates are January 22 to January 31, 2025, and the second session is scheduled from April 1 to April 8, 2025.
• The last registration date for JEE Main 2025 is November 22, 2024. Interested students must visit jeemain.nta.nic.in. 
• IIT JAM 2025 exam will be conducted on February 02, 2025, for admission to the M.Sc program.

NIT Meghalaya was established in 2010 under the NIT Act 2007. National Institute of Technology Meghalaya B.Tech admissions 2025 will be decided based on JEE Main 2025 examination. As per the latest NIRF Ranking 2024, NIT Meghalaya ranks 68th in the Engineering category.

NIT Meghalaya Admission

NIT Meghalaya Admissions 2025 provides a sizable selection of undergraduate and graduate-level courses. These include BTec, MTech, and MSc and PhD courses. Admission to these courses is based on national-level exams, including JEE Main, GATE, and IIT JAM.

Registrations are made online through the official website, and students must appear for the entrance exam and counseling to ensure admission at NIT Meghalaya.

NIT Meghalaya Eligibility criteria

For each course, there is a separate eligibility criterion for admission. Apart from that the student who desires admission has to write the required entrance test and pass the National Institute Technology Meghalaya cutoff.

B.Tech Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must have passed 12th class board exams from any recognized board to qualify for B.Tech admissions at NIT Meghalaya.
• Candidates must have scored at least 75% marks in 12th board exams.
• Candidates must take the JEE Main exam and participate in the JoSAA counseling for final seat allocations.
• Scores secured by candidates in JEE Main determine whether or not they will get admission.

M.Tech Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates should have graduated in either B.Tech or B.E. in any relevant subject.
• Candidates must have scored at least 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA at graduation.
• Admission to these courses depends upon the GATE ranks of the candidates.
