The Central University of Kashmir, formerly known as the Central University of Jammu and Kashmir, was founded in 2009 and is one of the top colleges at Kashmir University. This college is UGC-approved and NAAC-accredited, with a grade of B++. B.Tech admission to the institute is based on JEE Main scores. JEE Main 2024 Session 2 results are expected to be declared on April 25, 2024

The Central University of Kashmir offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctorate courses in engineering, science, management, commerce and humanities. The admissions to UG and PG courses are made based on CUET-UG and CUET-PG scores, respectively. The admissions are currently ongoing. Admission to PhD courses is made based on JRF (UGC / CSIR / DBT / ICMR / ICSSR), NET (UGC / CSIR).

Central University of Kashmir Admissions

The Central University of Kashmir accepts students for undergraduate, postgraduate, and professional programmes with various specialities such as BSc, B.Ed, M.Sc, MA, MTech, and PhD. Candidates who meet the eligibility requirements and receive valid results in CUCET, GATE, UGC-NET, SET, JEST, JRF, and other exams can enrol in various programmes at the Central University of Kashmir.

Central University of Kashmir Eligibility Criteria

Students who meet the qualifying requirements may apply for the exam, and a common entrance exam, CUCET, will be held for all Central institutions, with admission based on the candidates' scores.
