- Students must ensure that the thumb impression image is easily readable.
- Examinees must submit left and right-hand finger thumb impressions per the provided template.
- The thumb impression file size must fall within 10 KB to 200 KB.
- The exam authorities will reject unclear thumb impressions of right or left hands. Therefore, candidates must ensure that both hand's thumb impressions are visible.
- Candidates must not upload anyone else’s thumb impressions as it would result in crime in the eyes of the NTA authorities.

Citizen Proof Documents Required for NEET Application
Candidates from NRI, foreign, or OCI categories are required to upload certain documents for successful registration. Candidates can go through the necessary documents required to upload for NRI, foreign, or OCI categories given below.
- Citizenship Certificate: A Citizenship Certificate is given by the official authority of the prospect's Country of Nationality. This document must communicate the Citizenship/Nationality of the student, Validity Period, place of issue, date of issue, and Issuing Authority.
- Scanned Copy of Passport: The first and last pages of the passport should be reviewed along with the citizenship details. It must also include the date of issuance, nationality, validity date, issuing authority, and place of issue.
- Other Government-Issued Documents: Candidates must have documents regarding Government Authority under the Candidate's Country of Nationality. The papers must be an OCI Card, ideally issued by the concerned Indian Diplomatic Mission or the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) specifically for OCI students. In addition to the student's citizenship/nationality, the document should include the document's validity period, date, place, and issuing authority.
