DTE Maharashtra Polytechnic Admission 2022: The Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra State, Mumbai will release the Round 1 seat allotment results on August 26, 2022. DTE Maharashtra released the results of Polytechnic cutoff list 2022 CAP round 1 on August 25, 2022. DTE Maharashtra Polytechnic Admission Process
A few changes were introduced in the DTE Maharashtra Polytechnic admission process by the authority post the COVID-19. Candidates can check the changes listed below
- E-Scrutiny Mode
- Candidates can fill out the application form through the official website or direct link mentioned on the official page..
- The candidates can upload the documents online.
- Candidates must note that document verification will be online.
- Registration and Documents Uploaded through FC (Facilitation Centre)
- Candidates who do not have internet access can fill out the application form and upload documents through Facilitation Centre.
- The service will be provided at free of cost.
- The candidates will have to book an appointment to visit FC.
DTE Maharashtra Polytechnic Merit List 2022
The DTE Maharashtra Polytechnic merit list is prepared based on a few factors
- Merit Number Assignment: The merit number will be assigned to all the candidates who have applied for admission which will consist of the number assigned on the basis of the eligibility of the respective candidates.
- Change of Marks due to Verification: If there have been any modifications in the eligibility of the candidate, they must report it to the admissions authority on or before the counselling process.
- Method of Calculating Merit Marks: The following methods are used while calculating the merit marks for students on the basis of their eligibility:
- The percentage of qualifying marks for the candidates will be calculated while rounding off the percentage to the nearest integer.
- If the total marks for any qualifying subject are other than 100, then the marks will be converted out of 100 and the fraction obtained will be rounded off.
- If the marks obtained at the HSC level of the candidate are in grades, then the candidate will have to submit the grade conversion by the respective board authority at the time of application.
- If the candidate has appeared for a re-appearing exam, then the marks obtained by the candidate in the latest exam will be considered.
- Tie-Breaking Rule for Merit List: In case of a tie between two candidates while preparing the merit list for Maharashtra Polytechnic Admission 2020, the following factors will be considered:
- Highest marks of the candidate at HSC Level
- Highest marks of the candidates at HSC level for individual subjects (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry)

DTE Maharashtra Polytechnic Counselling Process 2022
Counselling for Maharashtra Polytechnic Admission 2022 will be conducted in three rounds: Round I, Round II, and Round III. The candidates will who fail to meet the eligibility criteria for round I or miss the counselling process will be called for round II and further for round III in the same condition.
The candidates will be allocated seats on the basis of their merit, reservation policy and the choice filled by the respective candidates. After the verification of documents and payment of application fee, the admission process will be completed.
