Current Education Minister of Rajasthan

It is not to many's attention that the Ministry of Education in India is currently divided into two separate departments. These are the Department of School Education and Literacy, in which people's roles include being responsible for organizing and funding various aspects of primary education and literacy. Then the second is called the Higher Education Department, which we all know deals with both secondary and post-secondary educational efforts.

Within the Ministry of Education exists the Department of School Education and Literacy, which is confusing. But the sub-department of the Ministry of Education is mostly responsible for primary education, both the formal and the non-formal setting. In the simplest of terms, the department aims to create a good universal elementary education system.

The Department of Higher Education, which is another subcategory of the Ministry of Education of India, is also responsible for providing and improving secondary and post-secondary educational systems present in the country. The department is also empowered to offer grants to universities and academic institutions as per their wish, so the issuance of grants is initiated based on the advice that the University Grants Commission of India gives.

About Govind Singh Dotasra

Govind Singh Dotasra is an Indian Politician belonging to the Indian Congress Party (INC). He is functioning as the current Minister for Primary and Higher Education of Rajasthan. He also is the Minister for Tourism and Devasthan in the Government of Rajasthan.

Personal life

Govind Singh Dotasara was born on the 1st of October 1964 at the Kripa Ram Ki Dhani village in Laxmangarh tehsil of Sikar district in the family of Mohan Singh Dotasra, a government school teacher, and Rupi Devi. he is married to Sunita Devi Dotasara.

Education

Dotsara studied B.Com, LL.B from the University of Rajasthan, Jaipur. He received schooling from his village and later studied in B.Com from the University of Rajasthan. After their studies, he started his career as an advocate in the Sikar Court, and for nearly 20 years, he was known as the best-known lawyer in Sikar.

Political Career or Govind Singh Dotasra

Dotasra began his journey into politics in 2005 and successfully contested the panchayat elections. As a result, he was elected as Pradhan of Panchayat Samiti, Laxmangarh, Sikar in 2005. In 2008, he contested the RLA, the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly election for the first time and won the seat of Laxmangarh by a close margin of 34 votes against independent candidate Dinesh Joshi.

Govind Singh won the 14th Vidhan Sabha election in December 2013 from the Laxmangarh constituency. He was also a member of the Public Accounts Committee of Rajasthan Assembly from 2015 to 2016. In the December 2018 election, Govind Singh was again elected from the same constituency. Dotasra has been the President of the District Congress Committee, Sikar, since 2011 and Vice President of Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee (RPCC) since 2014.

He is currently the Minister of State as he serves for primary and secondary education, which is called an independent charge. He is also the Minister for Tourism and Devasthan for the Government of Rajasthan currently. He is also a member of the 15th Rajasthan Legislative Assembly and Ex-Deputy Whip of Congress and the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly. He has represented the Laxmangarh constituency of an area called the Sikar district of Rajasthan since the year 2008. He is an active member of INC, the Indian National Congress way back since 1981.

Dotasra was elected as the Media and Communication Committee chairman, which was on the 5th of October 2018. He was the Vice President of the Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee, i.e., RPCC, before 2014. He has also served in the post as the President of the District Congress Committee for Sikar for 7 years.

• In 2013, he was popular for defeating the former union minister of Rajasthan state and three times MP Subhash Maharia with a margin of about 10,723 votes in the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly elections.

• He sanctioned renaming 15 government schools in different districts of the state after the martyrs.
• On the 6th of March 2018, Govind Singh Dotasra was chosen the best parliamentarian for 2016 by the special committee of the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly. He received the honour of the speaker of the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly.

Kamla Beniwal

Kamla Beniwal was born on the 12th of January in 1927, and she is an Indian politician. She was a senior-most member of the Indian National Congress party. She has also served as a minister on different posts and as Deputy Chief Minister during different times in Rajasthan.

Later she served as governor of different Indian states between the years 2009 and 2014. She also became the first woman minister in Rajasthan in 1954, a great achievement at the age of 27 itself. She has also served as Deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan in the year 2003. In addition, she served as governor of Tripura in 2009, Gujarat from 2009 to 2014, and Mizoram in 2014.

Kamla has been the first-ever woman to be the governor of any northeastern state. She was awarded Tamrapatra by former prime minister Indira Gandhi who was very great in recognizing her contribution to the freedom struggle.
