IGNOU Regional Centre Delhi-2 was established in the year 1998-1999. It is divided in two parts; Delhi-1 and Delhi-2. It includes East Delhi, Central Delhi, North Delhi, and North-East Delhi. With 6425 students enrolled, IGNOU Delhi-2 Regional Center began with 19 study centers. With 54 learner support centers in the area, it is currently among the biggest regional centers in terms of the number of enrolled students.
Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) is affiliated with IGNOU Regional Center Delhi-2. The facility provides programs for online distant learning (ODL) and remote learning.
