Eligibility Criteria for B.Tech Admission into IIT Jammu
Here are certain eligibility prerequisites that must be fulfilled by students aspiring to get admitted into the B.Tech program of IIT Jammu.
- The application should have passed the 10+2 exam with subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology.
- The marks secured in class 12th must be a minimum of 75% for general category students and 65% in the case of SC/ST/PwD category students. Alternatively, the candidate must rank within the top 20 percentile in class 12th based on their category.
- The students must have successfully cleared JEE Mains and JEE Advanced 2024 exams & should make it to the Common Rank List.
- Admission will take place through JoSAA counselling based on the valid JEE Advanced rank of the candidate and seat availability.

Admission Process of IIT Jammu
Candidates must look into the steps given below to understand how the admission process of IIT Jammu takes place for B.Tech programs.
- Step 1: First, candidates need to appear for the JEE Main exam. The JEE Main qualified applicants have to take the JEE Advanced exam & qualify for it.
