ITI admission 2024 process varies from one state to another across India. In general, ITI application forms are available in June/July/August each year. Candidates looking for ITI admission 2024 must appear for AITT (All India Trade Test). AITT-qualified candidates will be able to obtain the NTC (National Trade Certificate). The admission process for ITI is different for every state in India. Delhi ITI Admission 2024

The authority responsible for Delhi ITI admission 2024 is the Department of Training and Vocational Education, Government of Delhi. It will begin the ITI admission process in Delhi in around June 2024. Candidates must note that they do not have to appear for any entrance exam for Delhi ITI admission. • Application process: Students who are eligible must fill out the online applications via the official portal of ‘ITI Delhi Admissions.’ During the application form-filling process, candidates can enter their choices. Once the form is filled out, a printout of the same should be taken. Then, the candidate must go to the nearest government ITI for document verification.
• Application fee: The registration fee for ITI admission in Delhi ranges between INR 75 to INR 100, depending on the preferred program & ITI (private/government).
• Admission process: Delhi ITI admission 2024 will be completely merit-based. Candidates will be assigned ranks based on their marks/grades in class 8th/10th/12th. A total of four counselling rounds shall be conducted by the admission authorities to fill the seats. Further, the seats will be allocated depending on the candidates' ranks. 

Uttar Pradesh ITI Admission 2024

Rajya Vyaavasaayik Prashikshan Parishad administers ITI admissions in Uttar Pradesh. In general, the admission process for ITIs in UP begins in May/June each year. • Application process: Candidates must fill out the ITI online application form through the Rajya Vyaavasaayik Prashikshan Parishad's official portal. Then, they should take its printout and deposit it into the dropbox of any ITI institution in the state. 
• Application fees: General category students can apply for ITI trades in Uttar Pradesh by paying a fee of INR 250. The application fee required for ST/SC categories is INR 150.
• Admission process: The results of seat allocation will be released by the admission authority in the 1st or 2nd week of June. Using their credentials (roll number & birth date), candidates shall be able to access the seat allocation results via the official portal. Those students who obtain seats should pay the prescribed fee and report to the ITI institution within the given time period.

Bihar ITI Admission 2024

In Bihar, ITI admissions are conducted by the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB). Students must appear for ITI Common Entrance Test (ITICAT) to gain admission into ITI programs in Bihar. This entrance exam is usually administered in July each year and the application process for Bihar ITI admissions begins in the month of April.

• Application process: The online application for ITICAT can be submitted through the official website of BCECEB. Candidates should also attach a scanned copy of their passport-size photograph to the ITICAT application form before submitting it. Also, it is necessary for candidates to have a valid email ID for ITICAT online registration.
• Application fees: INR 550 & INR 100 must be paid by general categories & SC/ST categories, respectively, as the ITICAT registration fee for ITI admission.
• Admission process: Candidates' rank/score achieved in the ITICAT exam determines their admission chances for Bihar ITI admissions. Further, candidates should participate in the counselling procedure organised by BCECEB. Students will be allocated seats according to their ranks, course & college preferences, seat availability, etc.

Kerala ITI Admission 2024

The authority responsible for administering Kerala ITI admissions is the Directorate General of Employment & Training, Kerala. Kerala ITI admission 2024 shall tentatively commence in the month of June. 

• Application process: The online application form should be filled out and submitted through DTE Kerala's official website. The candidates should take a printout of this form. Further, they should submit the printout of the application form together with self-attested copies of academic certificates to the ITI where they are aiming for admission.
• Application fees: Online application for Kerala ITI admission is INR 50.
• Admission process: A merit list will be prepared by DTE Kerala and accordingly the authority will allocate the seats. Candidates shall be accepted based on their merit and generally, they will be able to obtain a seat in their preferred choice of ITI college. The results for seat allocation will be available via the official website of DTE Kerala.

Rajasthan ITI Admission 2024

In Rajasthan, ITI admissions are conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Rajasthan. No entrance exam is required for Rajasthan ITI admission 2024. Generally, admissions to ITI programs in Rajasthan start in June each year. 

• Application process: Firstly, it is required to complete the online ITI application form by going to the official portal of the DTE Rajasthan/Rajasthan Government. The scanned copies of photographs, signatures, and mark sheets of classes 8th/10th/12th must be uploaded to the application form.
• Application fees: The application fee for ITI admission is INR 100 for General category students and INR 75 for reserved category students.
• Admission process: A merit list of eligible students will be made available by the admission authorities for Rajasthan ITI admission 2024. Those students who make it to the merit list must attend the counselling process. Candidates must bear in mind that the allocation of seats will be based on merit only.

ITI Eligibility Criteria 2024

Getting ITI Admission to any course depends on clearing its eligibility criteria. If the candidate fails to meet the eligibility conditions set by the institute for the course, the candidate will not be considered for admission to the program. The eligibility criteria vary from course to course for ITI admissions. 

• Certain ITI courses require the candidate to be an 8th Std Pass.
• Some ITI courses require that the candidate should pass class 10th.
• There are some ITI courses for which the student should have completed 12th in order to get admission. 

ITI Admission Exam 2024

The DGT conducts All India Trade Tests (AITT) under the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) for its various schemes for ITI Admissions. AITT under Craftsmen Training Scheme (CTS) is conducted twice a year in India for more than 25 Lakh candidates. The trainees of NCVT program affiliated trades/units and eligible private candidates appear for this exam. ITI Admission Checklist

All candidates interested in the ITI Admission course offered by DU must ensure and double-check the following points to avoid any mistakes or confusion during the application procedure. Following is the checklist to keep in mind:

• There is no need to send any hard copies of the documents to the exam authority. Only online applications are accepted.
• The ITI admission applicants should print out the application form and keep it secure for future admission procedures.
• Candidates must fill out the application form carefully. The online application fee is non-refundable.
• The candidates will have the option to pay their online application fee using a credit card/ debit card or net banking.
• The fee is exempted for PH candidates.

ITI Admission Documents Required 2024

Before taking the final decision on admission, the competent authority will verify all of the candidate's original documents. Therefore, candidates must report to the concerned centre carrying all the essential documents.

M-Group Applicants

• Candidates must submit a photocopy of self-attested age proof, mark sheets, and certificate of 10+2 examinations.
• Self-attested photocopy of SC, ST, and PH certificate in the candidate's name for availing ITI admission under any reserved seats.
• For ITI admission, two passport-size photographs are to be retained by ITI.
• A photocopy of the Aaddhar Card must be self-attested
• The candidate must carry a self-attested copy of the vocational certificate if necessary.

E-Group Applicants

Every candidate must submit their self-attested class 8th mark sheet and certificate.

• A self-attested copy of the Aadhar Card is needed.
• A self-attested copy of the caste certificate if necessary.
• ITI would retain two passport-size copies of coloured photographs.
• Self-attested copy of vocational mark sheets, if needed.

ITI Admission Fee Structure 2024

The ITI course fee in various states is generally less than that of Engineering courses. The following is the expected range of course fees in both trades.

The ITI trades fees in government and private ITIs are different. Students will have to pay extra fees for the hostel if they wish to opt for hostel accommodation. Many states provide full or partial concessions in fees for students belonging to the reserved categories. Students can pay the total course fee in 2 instalments.
