Assam ITI admission 2025 will probably take place from May - June 2025. The official schedule for the admission process is yet to be announced. Further, the admission will be done based on the merit list.

The Assam ITI 2025 admission schedule has not been announced yet by the conducting authority. However, it is expected that the form-filling process for the admission will be commenced between May - June 2025. The admission for the Assam ITI 2025 session will be conducted online by the Directorate of Employment and Craftsmen Training, Assam.
The conduction authority releases the application forms for NCVT/CoE trades, SCVT trades, and IMC under SCVT (SCVT trades conducted by IMC in some ITIs) under the Craftsman Training Scheme, on the official website. Further, the admission will be done based on the merit prepared as per candidates scored in their last qualifying examination. There will be no seperate entrance exam for the admission.
Moreover, the students got selected in the merit list will then be called for the counselling process as per their rank. There will be around 5 counselling sessions and one spot round session as per the seat availability. The counselling is expected to begin from June 2025.

Eligibility Criteria for Assam ITI Admission
It is mandatory to meet the eligibility criteria for Assam ITI admissions, and the eligibility criteria are listed below:
- Nationality: To be eligible for admission, aspirants must be citizens of India.
- Qualifications: Applicants must have passed the eighth and tenth grades on any accredited board.

Candidates who meet the requirements must register online at the official ITI Admission Portal. Applicants can apply for these courses by following the instructions listed below.
- Step 1: Scroll down to the section on the official website.
- Step 2: Select "Online Registration" and "New Candidate Registration" to finish the registration process.
- Step 3: Next, click the Online Registration link again, then sign in using your application number and password.
- Step 4: Fill out all personal and educational information, then attach the required files.
- Step 5: Print the application form once the application submission is done.

To apply to Assam ITI courses, candidates must pay a specified application fee. For admissions, students in the reserved category will pay INR 150 for each application, while students in the unreserved or general category must pay INR 100 per application.

Counselling Process for Assam ITI Admission
Following registration, all candidates must report to the closest government ITI at the designated time and date, bringing all original paperwork, certificates, and other supporting documentation to verify their registration details.
- Subsequently, the candidate must complete and save his options within the time frame specified in the counselling schedule by DECT Assam.
- Following the choice-filling process, all completed choices from all registered candidates will be considered for the distribution of seats based on the candidate's category & rank.
- The allocation is only tentative and will be made against a single seat.
