NID is anticipated to issue the B.Des and M.Des cutoffs at the same time as the NID DAT Prelims Result 2026. The NID DAT Cutoff marks are the minimum marks used to select candidates for the NID DAT 2026 Mains.
The NID DAT Qualifying marks differ from the NID Admission Cutoff. The NID DAT final result will be released, with weightage given to DAT Prelims and DAT Mains.

NID DAT Reservation Benefits for Eligible Categories
Candidates from the reserved categories will receive a series of relaxations for the NID DAT Cut off 2025. The category-wise relaxation is mentioned below.
- OBC-NCL: 10% lower than the cutoff score for the Open category
- SC: 20% lower than the cutoff score for the Open category
- ST: 20% lower than the threshold score for the Open category
- PwD: 30% lower than the threshold score for the Open category
