Placement Details of NITs in India
During National Institutes of Technology's (NITs) continuous final placement session, students received more offers and higher salaries as compared to previous years.
- In NITs like Surat, Warangal, and Calicut, the typical salary offered is 30% higher than previous years. For placements at NIT Jalandhar, the number of offers increased by roughly 54%, exceeding the figures from the previous year by 19 to 24%.
- Microsoft has consistently ranked among the top university recruiters, particularly at NITs; recruitment is reportedly significant compared to previous cycles.
- Microsoft offered the highest placement of Rs 39.02 lakh per year in the on campus recruitment procedure. The average salary has increased to INR 11.63 lakh.
- The job profile offered is for the individuals with backgrounds in software development, coding, and business analytics.
- MNIT-Jaipur's top recruiters were Amazon and Salesforce. Few more like Credence, QuadEye Security, Lowe's, Wissen, Nokia, Incture, PharmEasy, ATCS, Toshiba, Cartesian Consulting, and IBM were among the other firms who conducted recruitment tours.
- At NIT-Calicut (Kozhikode) top recruiters were Cisco, Amazon, Arcesium, SAP, Qualcomm, Oracle, and AppDynamics.
- The highest offer received till date was INR 50 lakh per year, or almost $200,000.
