Age Limit

Educational Qualification

Required educational qualification varies according to the course. The course-wise eligibility criteria has been categorized below.

PTET 2025 Eligibility for B.Ed

Candidates should have passed the Bachelor/Postgraduate Examination of any University recognized by law, which is considered equivalent to the graduate/postgraduate examination of the State University of Rajasthan with a minimum of 45% marks irrespective of their caste/category.

PTET 2025 Eligibility for B.A B.Ed./B.SC B.Ed

• Candidates belonging to the general category must have secured at least 50% marks in Bachelor/Masters Degree level examination from Rajasthan or (10 + 2) or equivalent examination by the rules of the State Government.
• SC/ST/OBC, special backward classes, and physically challenged and widow or divorcee women candidates of Rajasthan secure a minimum of 45% aggregate marks and will be eligible for the exam.

Note: Candidates who have passed graduation through a correspondence course from any University by taking only one University examination or have not studied through the 10+2+3 scheme or 10+1+3 (old scheme) are not eligible to appear in PTET Rajasthan. Moreover, any provisional candidate who fails to present the required documents will not be accepted by the conducting authority.
