Rajasthan PTET Counselling 2024 for 2nd round is completed. Students who could not secure admission in BSc BEd courses have been given a new opportunity by the Vardhaman Mahaveer Open University. The short notice notifies BSc BEd aspirants who didn't complete their INR 5000 payment against the counselling registration, that there are a few empty seats and they may secure admission by paying INR 27,000 against the seat.

The second round seat allotment list under the Rajasthan PTET 2024 Counselling was released on the official website - ptetvmou2024.com, on Sep 12, 2024. The qualified students are offered admission into various PTET-participating colleges 2024. PTET 2024 counselling takes place in several stages, with candidates being assigned to courses and universities based on their marks and a merit list.

PTET Counselling 2024 Criteria

Candidates are processed for the counselling processes based on their merit PTET scores/ranks. A counselling fee of Rs. 5000 is required. The college allotment process is centred around certain criteria, such as merit rank, the faculty present in the college, category, etc.

PTET seats are allocated district-wise in Rajasthan based on the reserved population in these districts. The rest of the seats are allocated to citizens of Rajasthan. Candidates who do not reside in Rajasthan will be considered as a part of the General category. As PTET mandates, only 5% of seats shall be set aside for students from other states.
