Things to Keep in Mind While Filling the UPSC Application Form
We have listed down a few points that can make UPSC's entire application process more convenient and easier for candidates.
Take a look:
- The UPSC CSE prelims exam is the same for the Indian Forest Service (IFoS). Thus, candidates must make sure to specify which post they are applying for or whether they wish to apply for both posts.
- The application process has two parts - Part I and Part II. Candidates must pay the required fees, enter their prefered exam centre and upload their photograph and signature per the prescribed requirements. The language of the medium for the exam papers from 1 to 5 must also be specified. Candidates must then select the optional subject and the Indian language they wish to answer for paper A. Though these subjects and the medium of language are required for the mains exam, candidates can make the specifications while applying for the prelims.
- We advise all candidates to take their time and carefully fill out the application. No changes can be made once it is submitted.
- Read through the instructions carefully and refer to this page for any other updates and important details as per future UPSC notifications.
