Infrastructure Facilities at Agni College of Technology, [ACT] Chennai:

• The College is built on a sprawling campus of 26.6 acres of land amidst a quiet ambience best suited for higher education
• The college has spacious classrooms, drawing halls workshops and laboratories that are well ventilated, airy and are provided with furniture best suited for academic work. OHP and LCD projector facility is also available
• There are more than 12 laboratories, apart from 4 ultra modern computer centres and 2 workshops for basic engineering
• The college also has a centrally air-conditioned seminar hall which can accommodate around 550 people
  

Workshop:

• The College has well-equipped workshops to teach the basics of engineering functions to the students
• All the basic equipment needed for the fundamentals of engineering like fitting and assembly, carpentry, welding, foundry etc are available
• A team of experienced faculty help the students for effective learning in this area

Library:

• ACT Central Library houses nearly 28,000 volumes of books and 5,800 titles enable the students in their study and research
• An online journal database with a link to IEEE is also available
• The spacious reading area lends a calm and comfortable atmosphere for students and faculty members to pursue excellence in academics
• The library is equipped with all modern facilities on par with international standards
• NPTEL video lectures are also available in various disciplines. This facility can be accessed on the campus through an intranet. Interactive lectures by Anna EDUSAT Ku-Band is also available for the faculty and students

Hostel:

• Separate hostels for boys and girls with spacious rooms and adequate storage areas are available.
• Hostel students can access the wi-fi facility. In addition, some rooms are provided with a wire connection. Access to internet from the hostel is a facility that aids the quest for knowledge.
• Each hostel is attached with a modern kitchen, a dining hall, a reading room with newspapers, periodicals and magazines, a TV and a telephone.
• The study hour is from 8.30 pm to 10. The compulsory study hours in the hostel will be from 6 PM to 7.30 PM for girls and 6.30 PM to 8.00 PM for boys.
• Strict discipline is maintained

Canteen:

• A well-equipped, modern cafeteria in the campus provides hygienic food at subsidized rates or the students, staff and visitors to the college.
• It works extended hours for those inclined for a quick snack amidst their various activists

Transport:

• The college has its own fleet of buses connecting the campus with different points of Chennai and suburbs for the benefit of the students and staff
• The fee for transport has to be paid in advance. Fee once paid will not be refunded
