- The library has got a well-stocked set of books, learning center, video viewing facilities, newspapers, magazines, and periodicals.
- It is divided into 4 sections namely, (a) Stack area, (b) Circulation section, (c) Reference and Periodical section and (d) Reading room and ICT Lab.
- A total of 7850 books are available in the library.
- OPAC system is available which enables the facility to search, browse, and reserve physical materials available at the library.
- Automation and Security Systems of the library are designed using Koha Library Management Software [KLMS] integrated with RFID technology.

Sports Facilities:
- Akal University conducts Annual Athletics Meet every year which includes games such as 100m running race, 400m running race, 800m running race, 3000m running race, Long Jump, Tug-of-War, High Jump, Relay Race, Jevlin Throw and Discus Throw.
- Athletic Meet encourages the students to participate in all events with as sports play an important role in their lives.
