Pleasant Hostel Facilities

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore, has hostel arrangements for both boys and girls. The hostel rooms are equipped with basic amenities and also have common recreational facilities. It also has a common mess where only vegetarian food is served to all the students.

The mess fee for a year is INR 58,000. Overall, the students enjoyed their stay at the hostel. Rarely the students are dissatisfied with the hostel. It has a good security system, thereby he students also feel safe all the time. Since the university is located around 30 kilometres from the city, students can find it difficult to find a suitable PG in the vicinity of the college.

Monotonous Campus Life

When it comes to campus life, it is evident the students have to bear a very repetitive one. This has been a consistent concern being raised by the students on several online platforms. Apart from academic events or conferences, not much focus is given to making the students' lives vibrant. Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore, mainly focuses on the educational part.

To top this, it has a strict dress code, wherein students have to wear uniforms on most days. Needless to say, it ruins the enthusiasm of students. On days when students are permitted to wear casuals, they are sticking to a stringent dress code where the students are not allowed to wear jeans, short tops, sleeveless dresses, etc.
