Library

The Central library has an extensive collection of books and is augmented on a continuous basis. The library also has Educational Audio & Video Cassettes, CD ROMs, Back Volumes, Project Reports, Thesis reports etc. It is an institutional member of the Anna University Library and British Council Libraries. The library and reading room will be open from 9.00 AM to 6 PM on all working days. The library has 18,000 volumes of books in 4500 titles on different disciplines covering all major fields of Engineering, Science and Humanities. Fully computerized with bar code module using eBLIS software and online public access catalogue searching facility, is available for students and staff. Photo copying facility is also available for books and Journals.

Hostel

Separate hostels have been provided for the boys and girls within campus. The Design of hostel rooms and facilities incorporates latest ideas and tested concepts with provisions for natural lighting, wide corridors and open areas ensuring good ventilation for healthy living.

All the rooms are spacious with three seated accommodation, having almost independent and exclusive living and study areas for each inmate. A separate dining hall including a centralized kitchen with an area of over 7500 sq.ft., has been provided for the boys hostel. A separate space is allotted for recreation purposes where in indoor games, T.V and reading room facilities are provided. The Dining and recreational area has seating capacity for 250 students.

Canteen

A canteen with an area of over 3.500 sq.ft., is located near the basic Sciences Block, easily accessible from the academic and administrative wings. The canteen has been well planned and laid out in the midst of mango gardens.

Transport

Transport facility is provided for students coming from Chennai, Chengalpet, Madhurantagam, Kalpakkam and Thirukalukundram and enroute. Totally 18 buses are running daily from daily various places to the college campus.

Sports

The Department of Physical Education and Athletics offer recreational, intramural, club and intercollegiate activities that encourage students to shape their education within and beyond the curriculum. To encourage the sportsmanship spirit AMCET has a large sports ground with Basketball, Volleyball, Tennis Court and Athletic track.

Health Center

General Hospital is situated within the campus of AMDECH and has a very well experienced and accomplished team of Medical Practitioners, Technicians, Nurses and other Administrative Staffs round the clock to handle any medical emergency. The Hospital is equipped with the latest high-end equipment and technology. The hospital has bed strength of 120 beds.

Bank ATM

Federal Bank ATM facility is available right opposite the entrance of the college providing the convenience of banking to students, faculty and staff.

Security

AMCET provides a variety of safety and security services to the entire College 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The College uses closed circuit television (CCTVs) to monitor public areas in order to deter crime and to assist the Public Safety in providing for the security and safety of the campus community.
