Wi-fi Campus

The college is located at Bhutta, very near to Ludhiana – ‘The Industrial Hub of North India’ thus providing & facilitating access to industry. The splendid college campus has come up on 25 acres of pollution free land including 1,00,800 square feet of constructed area with two multi-storied blocks with marble floorings.

Laboratories

The institute has set up laboratories to enable students to derive practical knowledge. The sprit of enquiry is encouraged in these labs by knowledgeable mentors. Computing labs have the advanced computer systems contemporary operating systems and licensed software’s.

Latest software’s are available to enable the students to work on data analysis, web technologies and software designing.

Computer Labs at BCET provides computing facilities comprising latest computers enabled with fast processors and linked to a wide range of software and print services. Centre is equipped with web server, Security Wall, Bandwidth Management and Data Services. All the computers are interconnected through a secured network with high speed 5 Mbps internet facility is available to all students irrespective of their stream.

Seminars & Workshops

College organizes seminars and workshops every now and then on all latest topics to create awareness among students and make their learning more strong. Renowned persons and experts are always invited to college to address students with latest and practical knowledge of the technology.

Library

A voluminous library that supports the learning process with textbook, reference books, general books, periodicals etc. is an asset to the students. A number of valuable and quality journals and periodicals are being subscribed to.

The library has 3150 titles and total no. of 16,517 Books, 72 journals and 42 international journals with Reading room of at least 250 student sitting capacity.

In addition to the course books general books for personality development, general knowledge, handbooks, yearbooks, reference book. are also added to the collection.

The library is tastefully furnished and it can seat more than 150 students at a time in its spacious reading halls. Apart from books it has a huge collection of Audio video material like CD’s & DVD’s.

Gymnasium

BCET has well equipped gymnasium which incorporates Stepper, Jogger, Cycle, all types of Bench Presses, Dumbles, Rods, with latest modern infrastructure. It functions for both physical and intellectual education of young students.

Canteens

BCET has the facility of a spacious and clean canteen that caters to the taste of all students. College canteen can conveniently accommodate more than 100 students at a time, functioning in the campus. It is well maintained with efficient service and a take away counter.

BCET canteen caters to the needs of faculty, staff and day boarding students which offer hygienic food and other eatables at economical rates. The canteen committee monitors rates, quality and proper service to the users. The college canteen is a place where students congregate to not only eat but exchange views.

Sports & Extra Curricular Activities

The Institute has Football Ground, Volley Ball Ground, Cricket ground, Badminton Court, Lawn Tennis and well planned gymnasium with modern equipments for Physical Exercises an also provide facilities for indoor games like Chess, Table tennis etc.

A sport is an organized, competitive, and skilful physical activity requiring commitment and fair play, in which a winner can be defined by objective means. It is governed by a set of rules or customs.

The mission is to motivate preparing teams to participate in Punjab Technical University Inter-College Tournaments and organizing Tournaments at University, State and National level.

The students are encouraged to participate in sports, music and social welfare activities to learn the importance of self confidence, leadership and decision making traits to be inculcated in their personality.
