Baba Raghav Das Medical College was established in November of 1969. Late Shri Chandra Bhanu Gupta laid the foundation stone. It was named after Baba Raghav Das, a freedom fighter and close associate of Mahatma Gandhi and Acharya Vinoba Bhave, a significant Sarvoday Leader in this area. On August 7, 1972, the first batch of MBBS students was admitted.

Hostels- Boys and girls have their own dorms at BRD Medical College. The hostels offer a variety of amenities to ensure that students have a pleasant stay. In the hostels, which have kitchens and dining halls, the candidates are responsible for their own mess. It comprises all facilities such as hospitals, residential buildings, hostels, and so on.

Computer Labs- The computer labs are very well-equipped.

Library - The campus has a huge library with a huge collection of books and journals.
