Central Library 
 

 
The Central Library of the BBDNIIT aims to satisfy the needs of all professional Programs. Its collection of about 50,000 selective Books, 180 periodicals & Journals (both National & International), 1,200 CDs and Video Cassettes meet the greater part of the students' academic and research requirements. The library is also equipped with an e-LIBRARY section having its own Computers with 24 hour access to internet with IEEE, INDEST, and Science Direct & Bentham Subscriptions. E-Library also contains various Open Courseware Materials from NPTEL, MIT-OCW, OCW Consortium etc. The Central Library also has Reprographic Services & Air-conditioned Reading Room facility for almost 400 students at a time.
Computer Centre 

 
The College provides state-of-the-art fully air-conditioned Computer Center and various Specialized/Advanced Computer labs for its faculty and students. The Computing facility comprise of more than 12 Higher-end specialized Multiprocessor RAID Implemented Intel based CISC servers of IBM, HP & Compaq and more than 1300 Pentium 4 Single Core, Dual Core & Core 2 Duo processor based desktops equipped with multiple licensed operating systems as well as Softwares supported by Power Conditioning equipments from renowned multinational UPS Technology Leader worldwide - APC, Powerware etc. The whole computing infrastructure is being managed by professionally qualified and technically competent System Administration Staff assisted by a team of Technical Support Staff under the supervision of HOD (Computer Sc. & Engg.). The Institute has Internet Access Bandwidth and Connectivity through multiple ISPs exceeding 20 Mbps (1:1) available on all the computers across the College.
 

Laboratories, Workshops, Studios & Museums 
 
The College has Laboratories, Workshops, Studios & Museums up-to-date as per the syllabi of all the programmes on offer. ngineering Workshop accommodates fully equipped Fluid Mechanics and Hydraulics Lab, CAD / CAM Lab, Automobile Engineering Lab, Material Science Lab, Machine Shop, Heat & Mass Transfer Lab, Refrigeration & Air-conditioning Lab, Electrical Machine Shop, Foundry, Welding, Carpentry, Fitting Shops, Smithy & Sheet Metal Shops. The College has well equipped and functio nal Computer Labs consisting of Unix Lab, Computer Programming Lab, Data Structural Lab, Computer Graphics Lab, OOP Lab, Operating System Lab , Data Processing Lab, System Programming Lab, DBMS Lab, Compiler Design Lab, Internet programming Lab, Artificial Intelligence Lab, Internet Surfing Lab, etc. Besides, laboratories of Electronics & Communication, Electrical Engineering and Applied Sciences such as PCB Design, Microprocessor, Digital Signal Processing, Integrated Circuit Application, Power System and Design, Instrumentation & Control System, Network Lab, Microwave Lab, Communication Lab, Power Drive Lab, Physics & Chemistry Labs etc. are also fully equipped and functional. In the Faculty of Pharmacy, Pharmacology, Pharmaceutics, Pharmacognosy, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Bio Technology, Medicinal Chemistry Labs, Instrument Room, Research Labs, Machine shops, Museum & Animal House are fully equipped and functional. Apart from the above, a Herbal Garden containing more than 200 species of Medicinal Plants has also been developed.
Hostel 

Hostel facility for 2000+ Boys and 1000+ Girls respectively is available in the Campus. The Hostel accommodation is on twin / triple sharing basis. Each Hostel has a Recreation Room with Television and Indoor Games facility.

Auditorium and Conference Room

The Campus boasts of a modern Air Conditioned Auditorium with a seating capacity of 1000 people. It has JBL Acoustics, Cinemascope Projector and a cinemascope screen. The Auditorium is regularly used for holding Cultural, Technical and Academic Events and screening of Entertainment, Informative & Academic Movies. Each college has an air-conditioned Conference Rooms fully equipped with state-of-the-art facilities.

Students Mall 
 
The Students’ Mall is a beautiful double storied sloped roof building surrounded by lush green lawns housing Food Court, Stationery, Book Shop, Salon, Dispensary and Branded Outfit Shops. The Campus also has Coffee Shops and kiosks in its spread.

Sports 

Dr. Akhilesh Das Gupta Sports Stadium in the Campus has a capacity to accommodate more than 20,000 spectators in its stands. The stadium is approved by BCCI to hold ‘A’ class National Cricket Tournaments and regularly used for Ranji Trophy Matches every year. The Stadium premises also house an air- conditioned & fully equipped Professional Gymnasium, with modern Exercise Equipments.
The stadium is extensively used for outdoor games like Cricket, Football & Hockey and Athletics (Field & Track Events). For other outdoor games, the campus has a number of Volleyball, Basketball, and Lawn Tanis & Badminton Courts. For indoor Games, Table Tennis, Carom, Chess, etc. are available to the Students in their hostels. Inter and Intra-College Annual Sports are organized on regular basis. The Group sponsors and awards Trophies, Shields and Cups apart from individual prizes to winners 

Health Care
Round-the-clock In-campus Medical OPD and Emergency Services along with provision of Regular Medical Check-ups and Immunization/Vaccination are available to the students. Each group Institution has its own ambulance and has ties with reputed Local Hospitals & Nursing Homes for medical treatment. All hostellers are insured against Hospitalization expenses in addition to accidental insurance across board. In addition to this, the Campus has an Acupressure Clinic with expert to treat people by Acupressure and Acupuncture Techniques. The Group also plans to establish another wing to provide the additional facilities of Homeopathic and Ayurvedic Medication.

Transport 
 
Local Transport Facility through a fleet of CNG Buses is available to Day-Scholars, Staff and Faculty Members from all corners of the City. Security: The Campus has 24x7 Closed Circuit TV Network Security and Surveillance system managed by the security personnel equipped with Wireless Radio Communication System. There is also a Police Out-post adjoining the Campus.

Banking 
 
The campus has a Punjab National Bank branch with ATM facility. The bank offers Zero Balance savings Bank Accounts and Educational Loan facility to Students.
