Library
BUC College Library was started on 15.Jan.1960. The college library has earned a reputation for its vast collection of books. The library building has a seating capacity for 400 students at a time and it can stock more than one lakh books. The building provides all amenities for serious reading. At present, the library has more than 1, 00,000 books on various branches of knowledge; It receives more than 100 journals/Magazines and 11 daily newspapers. Besides this, it has a good collection of maps, non-book reading material and reference books material. The library collection is well classified, catalogued and kept on OPENSHELVES in a systematic way. The students have full freedom to take any book of their choice from the shelves, read and get it issued for home use.
Sports
Games and Sports are considered an integral part of modern education and training for healthy life. The college follows a planned program for sports activities. The college encourages practically all the games and sports recognized by the University. It maintains well kept play grounds for hockey, football, basketball, cricket, tennis, badminton, and boxing. There is a also a 400 meter track. The sports department of Government of Punjab has selected Baring College as a subcentre for hockey, basketball, cricket and athletics.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There are 2 separate hostels ie one for boys and one for girls. As I am a local student so I don't know about hostel fee. The college is tasty and cost Rs20 per meal. The quality of classrooms and other things are ok but the library is really good.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : There were no particular eligibility criteria for my course and didn't give any entrance exam as it was not needed. But we have to get good grades to go further for postgraduation
Placements & Internships : There are no internships needed for our course and not the big companies but the call center recruiters come and offer a salary of Rs20000 per month. They only see the effective communication skills of the students so almost all the interested students get placed.
Fees & Scholarships : The course fee per year is Rs 30000. No scholarships are available and loans are not needed as the fee is affordable.
Academics & Faculty : The daily routine is good like our class starts at sharp 9:15 am. Yes, we do get homework and assignments and the test is also being conducted. The quality and method of teaching are quite good. The overall experience in college is nice as we get to learn so many new things.
Clubs & Associations : There are different departments in our college like we have our science society and functions are held for eg. Opening and closing ceremonies. The main festivals on the campus are sports and cultural. Generally, life in college is a beautiful memory to remember ever.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There are two separate hostels one for boys and one for girls. I am a local student so I don't know about the hostel fee. Food in college is tasty and it cost rs20 per meal. Quality of classrooms is ok but the library is really good.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : There were no particular eligibility criteria for my course. I didn't take any entrance exam for the admission but we need good grades in BSc course for moving further into post graduation
Placements & Internships : No BSC doesn't need any internships and call center recruiters come and provide jobs to students and the salary is around 20000. They only need the effective communication skills due to all the interested students gets placed
Fees & Scholarships : Per year the fee, of course, is approx Rs30000. No there are no scholarships provided and there is no need for loans
