Bethune College offers scholarships to eligible applicants. The scholarships are offered based on academic performance and economically disadvantaged students. Kanyashree Prakalpa: During their graduation course, female students in all boards (HS/ISC/CBSE) 18 years old are eligible for a one-time Kanyashree grant of Rs. 25,000. The applicant should also have the domicile of the West Bengal state. 

Kanyashree Prakalpa Sub Scheme: A sub-scheme of the Swami Vivekananda merit-cum-means scholarship scheme for postgraduate female students. There are no income requirements for the Bethune College Kolkata scholarship. Girl students in postgraduate courses in this state with at least 45 percent aggregate are eligible to apply for the award. The student must be a West Bengali citizen.

National Scholarships: All UG and PG students interested in applying for any scholarship under the national scholarship portal 2.0 can apply on the official site.

Students Aid Fund: The Bethune College offers aid funds to students having a family income of less than Rs 80,000 per year. Students must have a 75 percent or higher attendance rate with an excellent academic record, particularly in the most recent examination. Candidates should be involved in departmental activities regularly.

Swami Vivekananda Merit-Cum-Means Scholarship Scheme: The scholarship helps deserving students in West Bengal with an annual income of less than Rs. 2,50,000 to pursue higher education. Bethune College scholarships are available at various higher education levels at West Bengal-based educational institutions.

Eligibility Criteria

• For Higher Secondary or undergraduate degrees, students must obtain a minimum of 60% on their last qualifying exams.
• For Post Graduate courses, a grade of 53 percent in an honours subject is required. Education in general
• Engineering Education requires a minimum of 55 percent in graduation.
• A family's annual income is less than Rs. 2,50,000.
• Students must be West Bengal residents.
