Placements & Internships : This university doesn't give any internship as it is a new university. No campus recruitment is there at CUP Bhatinda. Hope it will give good campusing in the following year when its campus is permanent.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : Central university of Punjab, Bathinda is one of the best university among new rising universities of the country. Started in 2009, it reached 64th position in the country in 2016. The faculty here is highly qualified with most of them having their P.HD from foreign universities and some of the faculty are even working on some popular worldwide project works. The permanent campus is under construction. Vice Chancelor Mr. R. K. Kohli is a quite hard working and a dedicated person which helped the univeristy to be in the top position among the 12 universities started in 2009 act of parliament. The eligibility criteria of the university are generally 60% for GEN and OBC and 55% for ST and SC in graduation. And the admission prcedure is through CUCET (Central University Combined Entrance Test) entrance examination. Last typical cutoff for M.Sc of 2016 was around 133 in CUCET score.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : I've recently got admitted in Central University of Punjab, Bathinda. In India this university has been ranked #1 in newlly founded university. I'm persuing my M.Sc. (Physics) from here. For the eligibility criteria there is an all india level entrance examination CUCET(Central University Common Entrance Test) through which I got the admission here. A total of nine newly founded universities participate for conducting this entrance test. Every student gets admission strictly on the basis of the marks obtained by the student in the CUCET exam. A certain cut-off mark is decided for each category in every course. The present pattern is that there is a paper of 300 marks for PG corses. This year the cutoff mark for the admission of General category student was 138 out of 300 marks. Here in all departments there is a skillfull and dedicated faculty in every course. Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria were graduation in Science and Chemistry as a subject from a recognized university for admissions in CUP, Bhatinda. CUCET-2016(Central University Common Entrance test) entrance examination was the first step and Online fees payment be the second. These were the admission procedure At the time of admission, document checking was done and admission procedure was thus ended. Cutoffs for MSc Chemistry was about 100.
Fees & Scholarships : Course fees is Rs.13,800 per annum in CUP Bhatinda. Earn while you learn type scholarships are there. Every financially poor student who is interested can get the financial aid from University.
Academics & Faculty : Classes go from 9am to 5 pm and may be till 6 if Laboratory work is there. Teachers are young. Theoretical classes are interactive and practicals are interesting. The vibrant campus at CUPB makes the life awesome here.
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There are 7 Boys and 3 Girls hostels which provide accommodation to every student of the university in CUP,Bhatinda. Students can rent out rooms and PGs in the city nearby @ 1700 per months. Food charges vary from PG to PG. Food in mess is of good quality. Per day meal charges are Rs 60 including breakfast,lunch, and dinner. Classrooms, Labs,Library are air conditioned. The dining hall is clean. WiFi facility is there for every student. As the university is at its temporary campus, infrastructure is adequate and well furnished.
Clubs & Associations : There are several societies like NSS, Mountaineering club etc. Every year, Fresher cum farewell party, Convocation takes place in the university. Life in the university is awesome. Excellent place for research scholars and NET, GATE like competitive exams.
