Common Room: The college features a large common area open during college hours and provides equipment for playing indoor games. Students can access various magazines, including some of the most popular English Bengali journals and a selection of selected works by well-known authors. Daily newspapers in English and Bengali are also available to students. Indoor games such as table tennis, carrom, chess, and others are available. For female students, there is a separate common room. 

Medical Services: Students can get medical care at a reasonable cost. Students and staff at the college can also access emergency medical care.

Library: It is located on the second floor with a total of 2300 square feet. The City College Kolkata library has an information display section, circulation desk, reading room, stack room, processing room, and faculty reading room. The City College Kolkata has 13 departmental libraries within the faculties of Arts, Science, and Commerce and the library. The users are largely students at the college pursuing degrees in various fields, teaching and non-teaching staff members.

Canteens: On the college campus, there are various canteens. Some of these canteens are devoted solely to students. In the instructors common room, there is a faculty canteen. Several departmental canteens are also available to meet the needs of departmental employees.

Gymnasium: The City College Kolkata campus has a well-equipped modern multigym where they can improve their strength and fitness. It has appointed two well-qualified professors to assist them in selecting the appropriate training regimen.

Internet Facilities: The college has an extensive network of high-speed Internet access. Students have access to the internet within the library's premises. The net is available in the office, establishment, accounts, and the main office.

Grievance Redressal Cell: The college has a grievance and redressal cell made up of teaching personnel for the settlement of student problems. Students are given the option to bring their complaints to the attention of the college administration. The college administration also thoroughly investigates the complaints and takes the necessary actions. The grievance redressal cell is a recommending body that will offer corrective action if the situation warrants it. 

Book and Stationery Stall: The majority of textbooks are accessible at the book and stationery booth. It is an excellent aid to students to deliver the recommended books to their door.
