CMJ University is a state private university in Meghalaya founded in the year 2009 by Mr C.M.Jha, the founder of CMJ Group. It was established with a motive to keep up with the pace of the new knowledge era and to generate a highly skilled workforce not only in the State of Meghalaya but also in the North-Eastern part of India. This university is ranked 6 in Meghalaya and 707 in India. It has 13 departments and an anti-ragging cell to maintain the decorum amongst students.
