The CMS College was established in the year 1817 by the Church Missionary Society, England. It is located in Kottayam, Kerala. The CMS college is one of the largest colleges in Kerala with 14 departments offering 47 courses for 1900 students, 110 teaching faculty members, and 35 administrative staffs. The colleges is affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University and is reaccredited by NAAC with 'A' grade.

The CMS College strives to achieve excellence by imparting quality education through teaching, learning, research and extension activities. It offers programs in almost all academic fields in arts and sciences. The CMS College admissions can be done online through the official website.

CMS College Hostel Details:

There is a separate hostel for both the boys and girls. The college has two girls hostel, one for the undergraduate girls and another for the postgraduate girls. The girls hotel is little away from the main campus. There is one boys hostel. The CMS College facilities are enjoyed by PG students and sports students of the college on a fifty-fifty sharing basis as per an agreement of the College. The college canteen caters to the needs of the students by providing nutritious food at very reasonable prices. There is a Canteen Committee who supervises the canteen activities.
