The College of Art, is under the Faculty of Music & Fine Art, University of Delhi, for all academic matters and wholly administered by the Govt. of NCT of Delhi. College of Art is an institution established in 1942 for advanced training in Visual Art (Creative and Applied) leading to the Bachelor of Fine Art Degree of the University of Delhi, further providing advance training in Master in Fine Art course. It aims to prepare the students for creative and applied responsibilities in the world of art and design. In its span of existence of nearly 67 years the College has gradually grown to ensure an exalted position in the teaching of fine art in the country and comparable to any other art institution in the World. In future proposals, an unsurpassed range of patronage is envisaged to orient our teaching programmes to bond relationships with Industry, Commerce and Professionals including NGOs. This is in addition to the already existing extensive student research development projects, illustrated lectures/ demonstrations by invited guests, workshops, educational study tours etc.

College of Art, Delhi University provides two majore courses The Foundation Course and the Master of Fine Arts Post Graduate Degree Courses to achieve an overall refinement of the student’s perception not to confine to the skills of the profession alone but also to create the kind of intellect as well as emotional cultivation to arrive at a level of composite creativity and thought.

College of art is an institution established in 1942, Affiliated to the university of Delhi. The BFA degree offered is of four-year duration. The College is under the Faculty of Music & Fine Arts for academic matters and is administered by the Govt. of NCT of Delhi. The four year (eight semester) full time BFA Degree course is divided into two parts Foundation (Two Semesters) and Specialization (Six Semesters). The specialization are as follows:-

Admission to the proposed course requires minimum marks in 10+2 or equivalent. Admission to various Integrated courses requires minimum marks in the qualifying examination. Details regarding admission criteria,application fee and eligibility are as follows:

BFA	500-General/250-SC/ST	The candidates seeking admission to BFA Degree Course must have a clear pass in any one of the following examinations with 50% or more marks in the aggregate of five subjects. Candidates with Compartment are not eligible to apply. Senior School Certificate Examination with all subjects (12-year course) of the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi. Indian School Certificate Examination with all subjects (12-year course) of the Council for Indian School Certificates Examination, New Delhi. Intermediate Examination with all subjects of the Indian University/ Board recognized by the University of Delhi. Pre-University (2 years) Examination of an Indian University/ Board recognized by the University of Delhi Any other Examination recognized as equivalent to the Senior School Certificate Examination (12-year course) of the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi Concession of 5% marks in the minimum eligibility requirement will be allowed to: - Candidates who have taken Graphic Design, Drawing, Painting, Sculpture or Applied Art as one of the subjects in their qualifying examination. For Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe/ OBC/ Candidates. For Widows and/or children of Armed Personnel/ Para-Military Forces. For Persons with Disabilities. For wards of Kashmiri Migrants

The Master in Fine Arts Courses is a full time and of two years duration course. The College is under the Faculty of Music & Fine Arts, University of Delhi for academic matters and is wholly administered by the Government of NCT of Delhi. The course has Five further specilazations:
