Entrance Exams & Admissions :
For admission at College of Fisheries, one should have passed entrance named exam of the Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (CET- GADVASU) after 10+2 (medical and non-medical).
It is a combined test for admissions in the bachelor of veterinary science, bachelor in fisheries sciences, bachelor of technology in dairy science, bachelor in animal biotechnology.
Placements & Internships :
For fisheries, there is no stipend at College of Fisheries.
For veterinary and dairy science training, the stipend is provided by ICAR Placement cell is not fully developed so no figures for average salary or highest salary Alumni network is also poorly developed for the college of fisheries.
Academics & Faculty :
Class timings at College of Fisheries are from 9-5 pm.
The main emphasis is on theoretical knowledge and practical guidance is poorly developed.
Exams are held 2 times in a semester.
The quality of teaching is good and digital and smart classes are well designed.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities :
College of Fisheries has 1 hostel for girls and 2 hostels for boys.
With the fees of about 10,000-20,000.
Other options are PGs for 4500-5000 rent per month.
Food is good and healthy which cost about 70-150 per day.
Classrooms are nicely illuminated and designed.
labs are underdeveloped especially undergraduate labs.
Dining halls are good in hostels and wifi is available only in boys hostel.
Other infrastructure including farm area is average.
Clubs & Associations :
No student clubs societies are available at College of Fisheries.
Only two festivals are celebrated- intercollegiate athletic meet and intercollegiate youth festival.
