Darjeeling Universal Campus, [DUC] was established in the year 2012. It is a private institution which is located in the Takdah Cantonment Area, Darjeeling, West Bengal. The College offers many programs to keep the students on the road to graduation and professional success, such as tutoring and workshops on improving time management, note-taking, and test preparation.

The vision of DUC is to nurture young, impressionable minds in the backdrop of Indians ethics inculcating in them values that will make them complete humans beings, which essentially is the basic building block of a true professional. Darjeeling Universal Campus (DUC), Darjeeling is located in Takdah Cantonment, Darjeeling on a sprawling green campus, and spread over acres of land, built with the state-of-the-art infrastructure creating an environment conducive for higher learning and research. The institute provides well-equipped Labs for BCA programs as well as smart classes to ensure that students get the best of technical training.

The college also provides accommodation facilities to the students. There are separate hostels for girls and boys on the campus.

Darjeeling Universal Campus Placements:

The Placement cell of DUC is dedicated to advising students on career options and providing them with the latest information on industry internship and final placement opportunities. The Placement Cell provides 100% assistance for Industry Internships and Final Placement. DUC placements activities are for the students and by the students. 

The college provides National as well as international internships to the students for better industry exposure and a brighter future.

Darjeeling Universal Campus Scholarships:

The merit scholarship is initiated for meritorious students based on their performance at the pre-entry level and subsequent performance in various tests and examinations.

The student is awarded a merit-based scholarship in September each year. In the first year, the DUC scholarship will be decided on the merit of the pre-entry marks, mid-semester test, and attendance in regular classes.

The fee refund/reduction will be considered as follows:

• Students securing 85% and above in class XII -25% Scholarship.
• Students securing 70 – 84% and above in class XII -10% Scholarship.

Scholarship for Financial Assistance:

• Students choosing to avail of this scholarship must apply to the Office of Awards and Scholarships with supporting documents.
• Students seeking this scholarship at the time of admission are expected to fill up a separate application for a scholarship available along with their main application form and submit to the Office of Scholarships for perusal.
• The scholarship committee will then interview them on the allotted dates, and their concessions will be decided prior to the payment of their fees.

Eligibility Criteria at Darjeeling Universal Campus:

Darjeeling Universal Campus Admissions:

For admission at DUC, candidates need to fill the application form which can be filled online.

Admission to the B.Sc in Hospitality & Hotel Administration (BHHA), B.Sc in Culinary Science (BCS), Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA), BBA in Hospital Management (BHM), courses is based be on :

• Basis of the marks obtained in the qualifying Examination in 10+2 level and 10th level for DAHTM.
• DUC also admit students based on the rank obtained in DUC Admission Test (DAT) and personal interview conducted by the college. Student qualifying CET conducted by the university is also eligible for admission.

For B.Ed:

Darjeeling Universal Campus follows the admission procedure as per norms as laid by the affiliating university. The merit list of all the registered students who fulfil the minimum eligibility and above and have also paid the Admission Fee will be released as per affiliating University norms.

Darjeeling Universal Campus Hostel Details:

Homestay options provide students with a friendly atmosphere, living with a caring family, and for students who like home-cooked authentic Indian food, this is a great way to experience all the flavors, spices, and varieties of Indian cooking. While staying with a family, students are still independent and get access to all the amenities of home including homely food & care.
