DAV College Admission 2024

The college was established in 1918 in the memory of Mahrishi Dayanand Saraswati. DAV College Jalandhar admission offers Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in various specializations such as Biotechnology, Botany, Chemistry, Commerce, Computer Science, Economics, English, Food Science, Geography, Hindi, History, Journalism & Mass Communication, etc. Candidates must submit the applications offline. For Bachelor’s courses, applicants must have passed Higher Secondary examinations. Graduates are eligible to apply for the spectrum of Master’s courses at the college. Admissions to all the courses are given on a first come first serve basis. DAV College Jalandhar grants scholarships to its meritorious students in different fields.

The college is known to offer various UG courses in the discipline of science, arts, and commerce. B.Sc/ BA/ B.Com/ BCA/ BBA etc are the undergraduate courses offered under DAV College admission. Merit-based admissions will be conducted for all the courses.

DAV College Kolkata UG Admission - Eligibility, Fees, and Admission Criteria

Candidates should have studied English as a compulsory subject in class 12th. Admissions to B.Sc will be granted purely on merit basis. Admission of the candidates in any UG programme such as B.Sc/ BA/ B.Com/ BCA/ BBA etc is given on the basis of their merit in the qualifying examination. For other UG courses, candidates who have obtained Higher Secondary examinations certificate in any stream with 40% minimum marks are eligible to apply. Admissions to all the courses will be merit-based. The fee structure of the BBA degree program is INR 35,250 per annum.

DAV College PG Admission 2024

DAV College admission offers PG courses such as MA, M.Sc, M.Com, etc. In case applicants having equal service in Secondary School, preference will be given to the candidates having higher and better academic qualifications. DAV College offers M.Sc/ M.Com/ MA with a two-year duration and MCA which is of three-year duration.

DAV College Kolkata PG Admission - Eligibility, Fees, and Admission Criteria

Candidates applying to Dav College admission must have completed graduation in the relevant discipline with at least 50% marks. Selection to PG courses is on the basis of candidate’s performance in the qualifying examination. Candidates who have completed a BA degree in English are eligible for MA admission. Similarly, applicants who hold B.Com/ BBA/ BBM/ BCS/ BA or equivalent degree are considered eligible for M.Com admission.

The application for Dav College admission can be done through the college official portal. The step-by-step process is given below.

• Visit the official website of Dav College
• The candidate is required to read the instructions given in the prospectus or admission form.
• The candidate should then fill the admission form in their own hand and get it signed by parents/ guardians.
• Parents/ guardians are required to read the rules and regulations before putting their signature on the application form.
• The candidate is then required to appear before the admission board for an interview.
• If granted admission, the candidate must deposit the fee at the appropriate fee-counter on the same day.

Mandatory Documents for Application Form

• Original Certificate and Mark Sheets of the lower examination passed.
• Attested photocopies of the admission form.
• Attested photocopy of Character Certificate from the Head of the institution last attended
• Scheduled Caste/ Tribe/ Backward Class students must attach Certificate from the competent authority
• Outstanding sportspersons, speakers, singers & artists must submit supporting certificates/ testimonials 
• Eligibility Certificate issued by GNDU to those students who have passed their qualifying examination from other institutions except PSEB and Punjab University
• For securing an Eligibility Certificate, a candidate must apply on a prescribed form with a fee of INR 100/- along with the Migration Certificate in original and a photocopy duly attested
