Facilities :-
Central Library
D.R. College has a Central Library of its own. The Library is in the first floor of the College’s Administrative Building. The floor area of the Library is 3000 sq. ft. The Library is consisted of Librarian’s chamber, one book stack room, two reading rooms; one for the students and other for the Lecturer’s Staff. The Library is a well equipped and well maintained in suitable healthy academic atmosphere.
At present, there are 35,539 books in the Library. In addition to the books, Journals, Daily/Weekly newspapers are subscribed regularly. Each student is provided a non- transferable library card to enable him/her to borrow books from the Library.
The books are arranged in a classified order according to Dewey Decimal Classification (DDC) 21 st Classification Scheme.
In the same way, book entry is done by using special software namely, “SOUL 2.0 (LE)” in order to keep the proper data record of the collection of books.
To keep monitoring and view the movements, there are 3 CCTVs installed in the Library area of which 2 are in the Stack room and 1 installed in the Reading room. The CCTVs are controls via the Principal’s Office.
Bibliophilia Cafe
The bibliophilia café is a campus book store, lending library and e-content service provider. Students and faculties can browse the internet, get a print out of reading materials and even can have photocopies in the document centre. The café sore and sale textbooks, reference books, and guides, besides other fictions and non-books at affordable rates.
Womens Hostel
The college has both boys and girls hostel inside the college campus. The boys' hostel can accomodate 30 boarders and girls' hostel has capacity of accomodating 150 boarders. The hostel seats are provided strictly on the basis of merit only, and a few seats are reserved for ST/SC students. For accomodation one has to apply to hostel warden in prescribed form.
College Gymnasium
Keeping in view the fitness aspects of the whole community of the college, a well equipped multi-gymnasium is set up in the college premises under the XIth Plan of UGC.It is in fully functioned since the year 2013.The multigym comprises of several imported modern equipments.Since its inception ,it has got immense popularity amongst the whole community of the college.Users may avail the facility of its different equippments under the guidance of well trainned Physical Instructor.
Campus Sports and Health
The college provides well marked facilities to the students in the field of games and sports. The college has a glorious history of producing sportsman at state as well as national level. The college has very good atmosphere of football and every year student team participates in various tournaments including the DU Inter College Tournament. Where our team became champion in 2004. The college hosts the preliminary round of DU inter college Football and Cricket Tournament every year in the play ground. Recently the college has finished the construction of Pavilion cum gallery cum gym complex with the aid from UGC XIth plan. There is also plan of bringing up one Indoor sports facility as well as swimming pool.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There are two separate hostels one for the boys and one for the girls. Hostel fee is INR 700/- per month. There are also many PGs available near the college. The cost is around INR 3500/- per month. The college canteen offers good food at low cost. The quality of the classrooms, labs, libraries etc is also very good.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria for B.A in English Literature is that the student must be 10+2 pass in arts stream. He or she have to submit the necessary documents and pay the admission fee. The English Department of the college conducts an entrance exam for the selection of students. The cutoff for this course is 50% in the arts stream.
Placements & Internships : Students get good placements who pass from this college. The alumni network is also very good.
Fees & Scholarships : The course fee is INR 4000/- per year. Scholarships like UGC funds can be applied by the student. About 50% of the students who applied for the scholarship get it.
Academics & Faculty : The classes and seminars are conducted by the teachers in the best way to give quality education. The overall experience for a student in this college will always be good.

Monthly fee of the girl hostel is 1800. And 2000 for boys hostel. PGs are available and these are also not much higher than the fee of the college hostel .. Every PGs has different facilities so fee also different. But PGs fee is around 2500 to 3500. The college canteen provides food items with affordable price .fry paratha of 15rs, chicken chop of 10rs, coffee of 10 rs etc. The college classroom is sufficient. one E- library and one college central library. Besides every dept have theirs on the library for their students. Wi- Fi facility also provides to the students PGs are available and these are also not much higher than the fee of the college hostel .. Every PGs has different facilities so fee also different. Entrance Exams & Admissions : For taking admission in Debraj Roy College. One must pass H.S.L.C with 50% and above marks. Entrance is not needed for admission for H.S first year. For taking Admission for TDC one must pass H.S with 50% and above marks. One must have to appear the entrance exam for taking honour subject.entrance exam consists of objectives and descriptive type and entrance total marks are vary year by year.
Placements & Internships : Alumni meet program held every after five years at Debraj Roy College. I am a student of this college. So how much I know about my college I will share but I won't share which is above my knowledge.
Fees & Scholarships : I am a student of six semesters of economic debt. In fact, course depends on the Hons subject one chose. TDC in Economic it cost around rs 25000/-. And for HS 1st year and 2nd year, it cost 10,000. The scholarship provided to the student depend on the class. For TDC student the college provides 3500 and to HS student et provide 2500..every student are a lot given the scholarship who apply. Generally, the loan is not needed still at Debraj Roy College.
Academics & Faculty : The daily routine Class start in Debraj Roy College is from 9:00 am onwards and the class over at 3:00 pm. The class is of 1 hour.project are given to the student every year. Exam held every after 6 months of class. And it is final exam .. Assignment is given every time with the interest of the teacher. The method of teaching is interesting. The Teacher use power point to explain, I am exited and I am proud of my college. I have had many experiences from this college
Clubs & Associations : The Student union of the college is good, Union body are select through the election of the college. The college celebrates college foundation day, college week. And another various festival like puja etc. One may happy being calling himself students of DR college because the college has great potential to be good for best institutions. And also the college has A grade recognised by NAAC.
