Stipends And Awards :- 

Asoke bikash bhattacharyya memorial fund :

This fund was donated by Late Professor Bijan Behari Bhattacharyya in memory of his son. In special cases, University/Examination fees are paid out of this fund to a few deserving and meritorious students. 

Rakesh Chandra-Sati Dutta Memorial Fund : This fund is donated by Professor Aparna Dutta Pakrashi in memory of her parents. A monthly stipend of Rs 20/- (twenty) is awarded to the student securing highest marks in the Selection Tests for the Part I examinations of the Degree course. 

Sucheta Mitra Award : This award was donated by Late Professor Palash Mitra in memory of his poet wife Dr. Sucheta Mitra. A cash prize of Rs. 200/- is awarded to the student who secures the highest marks in Bengali Honours among the students of this college in B.A. (Honours) Part I Examinations of Calcutta University. 

Jitesh Guha Endowment Fund : (Donated by Banaripara Sammilani)

Two awards for the students who score the highest marks in Bengali General and English General among the students of this college in the B. A. Final Examinations of Calcutta University. 

Geeta Dutta Chowdhury Endowment Fund : Donated by Late Professor Geeta Dutta Chowdhury, this fund has two awards at present:

A scholarship for the student taking admission to this college with highest aggregate marks in the Higher Secondary Examinations.

A scholarship for the student admitted to BA Honours course in History in this college with the highest score in History in the Higher Secondary Examinations. 

Dr. Bijan behari bhattacharyyya & srimati binapani devi fund : This fund is donated by Professor Sudakshina Bandopadhyay in memory of her parents. The student securing the highest marks in Bengali General in BA Part I, Part II and Part III combined will receive this award. 

Priyabala Mukhopadhyay Endowment Fund : This fund is donated by Bani Bannerjee, an ex-student of this college. Students with a weak financial background, who are unable to pay admission/examination fees, will receive subsidies from this fund. Students scoring exceptionally good marks in the university examinations are also entitled for awards from this fund.
