Physical Education

The Department of Physical Education is an important department under Dr. C.V. Raman University. It is conducting  one year B.Ed. and M.Ed. programmes. The Department has a well equipped library, practical labs and Educational Technology Lab. Several co-curricular activities are also conducted by the Department which include Yoga, Physical Education, Cultural and Literary Activities. The University has an auditorium, play grounds and facilities for sports to implement these activities.

Library

The institute has a well stocked library with a collection of over 1808 books, 413 Titles, 12  Encyclopedia and  2 Educational Journals.

Each student is provided with an identity -cum-library card.   

These facilities provide knowledge to the students and keep them updated with the latest changing scenario in the world in various related fields. The library is managed and trained & efficient staff members who personally guide the students in selecting relevant books.

Activities :-

Practice Teaching :

Practice teaching was conducted in various schools at Kota. The students in physical education department also participated in divisional and state level events.

Yoga :

The physical Education department conducts Yoga, Pranayam, Surya Namaskar and Preyars every day.

Sports :

The students of Physical Education department regularly participate at college level, divisional level and state level sports competitions.

Weekly Test :

Weekly evaluation tests were conducted during the theory classes and feedback provided to the students.

Annual Function :

The Department also conducted its annual event in which cultural and literary activities were conducted by the students.
