FMKMCC is situated in Madikeri, 2 kms on the way to Gaalibedu is set amid sprawling hillocks, a typical landscape in the west. The campus in an area of 33.36 acres surrounded by mountains provides an ideal environment for academic pursuit.

Facilities

Library

The college library has a good collection of reference books, textbooks, fictions, non-fictions, encyclopedia etc. in the borrowing and reference sections.Newspapers, magazines, periodicals, journals etc. are available for reading in the periodicals section. There are over 45000 volumes in the library as on date.

There are two Book banks:

SC/ST Book bank - for the benefits of students belonging to communities and UGC Book bank for students who are meritorious but economically poor. Students shall make good use of the library for enrichment of their academic life.

English Language Lab

English Digital Language Lab is equipped with 15 Computers and lastest skill learning Software. Students can enchanced their language comprehensions and speaking skills by making use of the lab.

Student Welfare Centre

Student Welfare Centre primarily houses Counselling Cell and Medical Aid Cell. These oversee the Counselling and grievance reddressal sessions and also supervise the activities related to personality development of students.

Sports Facilities

The college has a Large playground measuring 2,50,000 Sq.mts. It includes 400 mts athletics track of good surface and a hockey pitch, various games like cricket, football can also be played. It has separate throw ball, tenniqoit, badminton and volleyball courts. besides two basketball courts. In the sports building multi-gym facilityhas been set up and provision for playing carrom, chess, and table tennis are also made. The sports department has first aid kit to meet medical contingencies.

Hostels

The college has separate hostel for boys and girls. The hostel wardens manage their working. Hostel admissions are given to student who come from distant places. Hostel inmates shall adhere to the rules and regulations of the hostel. They shall be studious and show good performance during the academics year in order to continue their stay in the hostel for the entire peroid of the course. Hostel monthly expenses are calculated on a dividing scheme.

Canteen

Canteen is intented to cater clean food and refreshments at reasonable rates. Though the canteen is run on a tender scheme,the college administrationearnestly strives to make available food is healthy and hygienic. Students shall maintain calm and cleanliness in the canteen. They shall not indulge in any of the prohibited activies such as smoking, consumption of liquor and durgs in the canteen.

Photocopier & TelePhone

Photocopying and coin telephone facilities have been installed in the library building. Student shall make reasonable use of these facilities.
